In the mid ‘80’s, in Stephenville,Texas, my uncle, who was a disabled veteran, kept complaining to the local police about drug deals going down across the street, day and night. They told him to get license plate numbers. He compiled a lengthy list and turned it over. Cops stalled. Over time, the thugs bashed the windows out of my uncle’s antique cars & vandalized his home. One weekend while he was away, they stole all his guns. The next time they came, they knew he was unarmed and they killed him, but not before gouging his eyes out & torturing him until he begged to be killed. Stephenville, Texas turned it’s back on Shroy D Reed.

Oh my, that is so horrible. I’m so sorry for your family. There is no excuse for that, and I wonder how the police can live with themselves after that.

Sorry to hear he was killed by thugs but one question is burning a hole in my brain. Why didn’t he have a gun with him when he was traveling?
