All across the United States, health insurance companies like Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut are meeting with state insurance regulators about premiums. During the past couple of weeks, Anthem proved to Connecticut state regulators an average 18 percent premium increase reflected the requirements of federal health care mandates and increased provider costs.

Of course, liberals and Senate candidate Attorney General Dick Blumenthal pull the "they are screwing us" card once again.

Of course it’ll result in an increase! What did you think when you put 30 more million people on the rolls??

Disregard we had to approve Obamacare so rates would go down...

Now the Feds can go after insurance companies for all this false information and set them up for ‘re-education.’

That is the bell for round two. Adopt the single payer plan.

When you mandate that all insurance policies include:

1- comprehensive coverage for all types of real and imagined and politicolly correct medical proceedures, (sex changes, etc.)

2- Low deductibles and unlimited lifetime benefits,

3- No pre-existing clause, so when you find out you have a major medical need you apply for coverage and cannot be turned down.

How could you expect premiums to remain level or go down...of course dramatically increased benefits means increased premiums...DUH!

Of course, liberals and Senate candidate Attorney General Dick Blumenthal pull the "they are screwing us" card once again.

That's the tactic...rather than having costs go up directly with the government, they merely have them be forced onto consumers by businesses due to increased taxes / regulations on products and services...that way when the hardship its, it is disguised as "corporate greed" by the liberals, even though the liberals themselves caused it to begin with.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke; administrated by people who want to emulate the worst aspects of socialized medicine programs in other countries (e.g. rationing and death panels)

What the hell could possibly go wrong?
