[ /sarcasm on}
These students are obviously terrorists and must be dealt with harshly. However, if they quoted the KORAN, it would not have been Terrorism.
[ /sarcasm off]
[ I hope it is evident that I am being very, very sarcastic ]

even bible verses wouldn’t make a Krispy Kreme donut edible.

This shows such a sorry state our schools are in that I don't know if this also be posted under
Breaking News or
Political Humor here on FreeRepublic.com
This story, in conjunction with story of the 6 year old girl booted from a cheer leading squad because of a vulgar cheer, shows how bad things are.
This other story is about a cheer about booty and how the parents of the 6 year old objected to it. The solution was to throw the 6 year old girl off the cheer leading squad... That story was in Michigan.

“Extra credit” though if you bring your teacher a Koran. We need to get a hold of our “schools”. The commies are out of control and destroying the minds of our children.

Since this is New Mexico, maybe they are afraid this might be a bad influence on the illegal alien students. After all, everyone knows that illegal aliens have more rights than Americans in America. [ /sarcasm off ]

Looks like a clear violation of our State Constitution:
Art II, Sec. 11. [Freedom of religion.] |
Every man shall be free to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience, and no person shall ever be molested or denied any civil or political right or privilege on account of his religious opinion or mode of religious worship. No person shall be required to attend any place of worship or support any religious sect or denomination; nor shall any preference be given by law to any religious denomination or mode of worship. |

As a Christian [Roman Catholic], I would have used the four hours in silent prayer. Or studying something I needed to.
Christians believe that when you are persecuted in the name of Jesus, you will be rewarded for that persecution.
But there are a couple of legal organizations that can now file additional charges against this school board...

TOLERANCE would be in full force!
To: topher
That is true enough but as a parent I would not have let it happen. They kids did nothing wrong.

The idiots who run the schools do not know about the Constitution. It’s not the students who are banned from religious activity, but the school. In short, it is the school who is violating the law.
