If you want to let your kids go to four hours of detention for spreading God’s word fine, I would not.

“We are called to be obedient to authority, even when they are wrong.” Raycpa

The above heresy is one of the most demented false teachings that has ever been perpetuated by hypocritical false pacifist heretics in the last 2000 years. All Satan and his ministers have to do is make people believe this lie that God somehow wants all to (literally and in every situation without exception) obey all “rulers”, “authority figures” and every “ordinance of man”. In doing so such evil forces then achieve a great perversion of Biblical interpretation which (throughout history) has caused hundreds of millions to be murdered, abused, raped and pillaged for over 2000 years NEEDLESSLY and against the will of God.

The apostle Paul himself DISOBEYED the “authorities” / “rulers” outright even to the point of insulting them on one occasion and becoming a fugitive by escaping a warrant for his arrest from another ‘ruler’ on another occasion. Also Peter had the help of an angel to DISOBEY the so called ‘rulers’ to actually break out of prison himself.

To be a pure pacifist is to NOT love your neighbor. Pure pacifism and obedience to “EVERYTHING” literally from any ‘ruler/authority figure/ordinance’ actually helps to empower all of the satanic hordes of demons and their human servants to multiply all their abuses UPON thy neighbor to do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THEY WISH upon them.

Only the *concept* or *right to govern justly by a group of weapon holding persons* aka ‘government’, justice and law enforcement is Biblical (when it is “for the Lord’s sake”, ie when it is in line with the commandments of the Bible/pleasing to the sake of God’s will). Not all the things that are “ordained” by various (and as well opposing and contradicting types of) governments/authority figures/rulers/ordinances are “for the Lord’s sake/pleasing to the will of God”, and therefore should NOT be obeyed, nor supported, whether it is some tribal ‘ruler’ wielding a spear in the jungles of Papua, or a group of globalist genocidal agenda Marxists who control the world globally through the UN/OECD/IMF and wield nuclear weapons, banking blacklists, sanctions, confiscations and imprisonments.

Ecc 3:1 To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven

The Bible must be interpreted correctly in context as a whole, otherwise one will quickly become a hypocrite, heretic, and an abuser of mankind very quickly.

When the final Antichrist appears such hypocritical pacifistic heresies will be preached from the pulpits of many so called ‘churches’ telling all listening that all ‘believers’ should ‘obey the rulers’ and take the mark of the beast itself, as it will be a commanded ‘ordinance of man’ from the ‘ruler’ of the world ‘government’ at that time, and according to such false interpretations “all governments and all their ordinances” are “ordained by God” and every one of them are literally in every instance “for your good.”

If anyone learns anything from the Bible in order to oppose this heresy learn that there are SAYINGS in the Bible, figures of speech, parables, simile, generalities, exceptional phrases as well as literal commands with no exceptions.

You can’t separate the Bible from reality, history and normal human language usage itself and expect to come up with proper interpretations and doctrinal viewpoints.

The topic of bible verses and donuts among school children of course is a much more minor ‘ordinance’ from a ‘ruler/authority figure’. Once must of course determine in every case how far it is worth disobeying the ‘ruler’ when considering the type of ‘ruler’ one is dealing with and how wicked they are in their capability or intent to use violence/confiscation/imprisonment upon you or your children or “thy neighbor”. Upon examination of the scenario properly, you and you alone have to decide by using the wisdom God gave you and comparing it to examples in the Bible and history as to how far you are willing to oppose the ‘ruler’ and his ‘ordinance’, or are you going to let it go and save your energy for more serious threats upon yourself or “thy neighbor” at the hands of ‘rulers’ or ‘authority figures’. Whatever decision you make you have to bear the responsibility for it in the end as God does not promise to intervene to save you out of the hands of evil doers if you push your level of disobedience against them even if you are justified.

History has shown that millions upon millions of Godly people have been tortured, abused and murdered at the hands of ‘rulers’, ‘kings’ and ‘government’ ‘authority figures’, so don’t make decisions without properly examining what the outcome will most likely bring to you and “thy neighbor” and if you are willing to live with what the possible outcome may be.

Luke 14:31 (Jesus said) “what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.”

Mat 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. (ie, even if you may be in the right, this is a sinful world ruled by mostly wicked ‘rulers’ who are not ‘out for your good’ and you must be wise in knowing how to deal with them in order to avoid even more harsh abuses at their hands then if you respond in other ways).

Mat 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

That verse is based on two principles:

1. The government punishes evildoers.

2. The government praises those who do good.

If these conditions are not met, or are transposed, then God must be obeyed and not man. We have a special responsibility to be good stewards of what we’ve been given, because our government is “of the people, by the people and for the people.”

The Apostle Paul was imprisoned for ignoring the edicts of Rome...why would we submit to an entity that exists to serve us, especially when we have the power to reform it back to the Founding Fathers’ ideal through the ballot box?

Oh, and I also forgot, that same false pacifistic heretical interpretation of said verse was also used for centuries to justify slavery.

No...the worst thing you can teach your kids is to put a man or an entity above God. That is the worst thing you could do.

>We are called to be obedient to authority, even when they are wrong.

Not so! And I have scripture, both old and new testament, to back my assertion:
1, Old Testament, Daniel in the lion’s den: Daniel refused to comply with the law that none should pray to any god or man for a certain time. Daniel could have complied by simply *not praying.*
2, Old Testament, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Fiery Furnace: these three were thrown into a furnace because they would not comply with the King’s order to worship his statue.
3, New Testament, Jesus said: “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s; and unto God that which is God’s.”
— Note, very carefully, that Jesus did *NOT* say ‘render unto Caesar that which is God’s.’

Why is it that our children can’t read a Bible in school, but they can in prison?

Because schools are the more severe punishment; they are prisons for those who have committed the [unpardonable] crime of being born; 'prisons' on the other hand are merely 'holding cells' for the "disadvantaged."

Walz said. “They keep missing the fundamental aspect of obtaining approval from appropriate school district personnel before they do these things, and the way that the doughnuts were brought to the school they were done so in, essentially, secrecy.”

I've noticed this strange problem that a disturbing number of people seem to have with 1) Logic, and 2) Definitions.
Take, for instance, New Mexico's State Constitution which says:

Art II, Sec. 4. [Inherent rights.]
All persons are born equally free, and have certain natural, inherent and inalienable rights, among which are the rights of enjoying and defending life and liberty, of acquiring, possessing and protecting property, and of seeking and obtaining safety and happiness.
Relevant Definitions
INHERENT –adjective
  1. existing in someone or something as a permanent and inseparable element, quality, or attribute: an inherent distrust of strangers.
  2. Grammar . standing before a noun.
  3. inhering; infixed.
INALIENABLE –adjective
not alienable; not transferable to another or capable of being repudiated: inalienable rights.
LIBERTY –noun, plural -ties.
  1. freedom from arbitrary or despotic government or control.
  2. freedom from external or foreign rule; independence.
  3. freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc.; power or right of doing, thinking, speaking, etc., according to choice.
  4. freedom from captivity, confinement, or physical restraint: The prisoner soon regained his liberty.
  5. permission granted to a sailor, esp. in the navy, to go ashore.
  6. freedom or right to frequent or use a place: The visitors were given the liberty of the city.
  7. unwarranted or impertinent freedom in action or speech, or a form or instance of it: to take liberties.
  8. a female figure personifying freedom from despotism.
  9. —Idiom
    at liberty,
    1. free from captivity or restraint.
    2. unemployed; out of work.
    3. free to do or be as specified: You are at liberty to leave at any time during the meeting.
RIGHT (partial listing)
–noun
18. a just claim or title, whether legal, prescriptive, or moral: You have a right to say what you please.
19. Sometimes, rights. that which is due to anyone by just claim, legal guarantees, moral principles, etc.: women's rights; Freedom of speech is a right of all Americans.
20. adherence or obedience to moral and legal principles and authority.
21. that which is morally, legally, or ethically proper: to know right from wrong.
22. a moral, ethical, or legal principle considered as an underlying cause of truth, justice, morality, or ethics.
23. Sometimes, rights. the interest or ownership a person, group, or business has in property: He has a 50-percent right in a silver mine. The author controls the screen rights for the book.

The "among which" of Art 2, Sec 4 suggests that the listed rights are not an exhaustive list, and in fact further reading reveals this to be the case as the State Constitution continues to acknowledge rights which are not explicitly listed in this section. Further along in Article 2, we see the following which are directly relevant to this case:

Sec. 11. [Freedom of religion.]
Every man shall be free to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience, and no person shall ever be molested or denied any civil or political right or privilege on account of his religious opinion or mode of religious worship. No person shall be required to attend any place of worship or support any religious sect or denomination; nor shall any preference be given by law to any religious denomination or mode of worship.
Sec. 17. [Freedom of speech and press; libel.]
Every person may freely speak, write and publish his sentiments on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that right; and no law shall be passed to restrain or abridge the liberty of speech or of the press. In all criminal prosecutions for libels, the truth may be given in evidence to the jury; and if it shall appear to the jury that the matter charged as libelous is true and was published with good motives and for justifiable ends, the party shall be acquitted.

Notice, particularly, that first sentence: "Every person may freely speak, write and publish his sentiments on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that right; and no law shall be passed to restrain or abridge the liberty of speech or of the press."

Again, I just find it quite disturbing that the definitions are ignored and that logic is not applied.

It’s peculiar how liberals mock those whom they consider unread, yet they can’t seem to grasp the basic meaning of words and phrases that the rest of us comprehend.

Agree. Of course this goes in accordance with the leftist agenda of merely following the rules of the game as laid down by Alinsky, Chomsky, et al...Control the language and you control the debate.

In this view, definitions are 'flexible' and can be distorted. This allows the rules to be manipulated.

Creepy when seen in action.

The kids are obviously prepared for a vampaign pof more than one season's duration. Note the nname of their group: Relentless in Roswell.

We ought to take them as our role models. They have the kind of creative, loving, gutsy no-surrender spirit we will need for the long haul.

Either exaggerated, or this school is out of control.

Or both...I have seen Life Site News exaggerate or shade the truth in the past. I have trouble believing even a public school administrator could say something as stupid as the quote below. If it is alleged, should we as Christians be spreading it since we don't know if he actually said it?

"However students were afterwards pulled out of class and instructed by Principal Ruben Bolaños to cease their "Christian" acts because they had made their point. He is alleged to have said, "I don’t like Christians. All they do is smile at you and then stab you in the back.""

“U are wonderful’ painted on one side and “Psalm 139” on the other, as part of their ministry.

Some highlights from Psalms 139

Psalms 139:19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. 20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. 21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

So you're saying that God can be incorrect/wrong? Isn't that de facto denial of the ultimate and utter Righteousness of God? Isn't that also denial of God's sovereignty in that it means He does not & cannot DEFINE morality?

And if you want to accuse me of being dishonest, here are your very words: "We are called to be obedient to authority, even when they are wrong."
