I’d rather have, for example, 41 Conservatives in the Senate than 51 Republicans.
I’d rather see a Dem take the seat from people like Snowe/Collins/Castle etc. I know that isn’t the most popular thing to say around here but personally I’m sick of supporting those in our party who believe voting with the Dems somehow makes them Republicans.
So you’d be content with just blocking stuff from getting done, rather than advancing any portion of the conservative agenda? Don’t get me wrong, I think that people like Castle and Chaffee, who side with Democrats more than Republicans on important issues, need to be shown the door, but if I have to put up with a Scott Brown, well I’d take him over Martha Coakley or Ted Kennedy any day.
