Do you really think that Mr. Cohen will debate Ms. Bergmann?

I doubt it, for one he is to arrogant. Number two he doesn't want his vote to gut Medicare exposed. Nor the $569 Billion in taxes he slapped on seniors on things like new knees, hips, name brand medicine that many, many seniors rely on. Even a 3.8% tax on selling their homes starting next year. Or that Medicare is cutting reimbursement to providers by 30% over the next 3 years. That the total CUTS to Medicare over 20 years is $815 TRILLION.

And he expects you the Media to remain silent on the gutting of Medicare, the lack of COLA raises for seniors on Social Security for this year, next year, and possibly 2012. Not only will seniors not receive COLA raises, but retired Military will not receive them either.

So which party is throwing granny and gramps under the bus? It's the DEMOCRATS, not the Republicans!

Many deem such districts un-winnable. When with a few extra $$ a candidate with the Ronald Reagan message could win, especially given the job loss, the higher taxes and obamacare. Reagan proved that when he won.

I know they’ve written of the US 9th TN where we have an arrogant POS 2 term obama butt kisser Steve Cohen. Who says he votes like a black woman, (he’s a white, Jew) BUT won’t debate his black, GOP, Memphis Tea Party backed candidate she won 61% of the primary vote over 2 other male candidates.

Seems to be a common tactic of democrats this time around. Run ads accusing republicans of starving granny and gramps, then skip out on debates.

That’s basically what’s happening here in Michigan’s 7th district.

It is totally hypocritical to bitch about socialized medicine by complaining that it is harming socialized medicine.

That the total CUTS to Medicare over 20 years is $815 TRILLION.

Just where did you think that $815 trillion was going to come from unless it was taxing "somebody else"? I'll bet you think taxes are too high too. Well, where else is the money going to come from? Borrowing? What would that do to the deficit? Did seniors save that much? Is it in the bank? From whom do you think we should get the money?

So which party is throwing granny and gramps under the bus? It's the DEMOCRATS, not the Republicans!

Looks to me like seniors are throwing their grandchildren under the bus and they'll switch parties if they don't get the government to take the goodies for them. After all, a sack of empty promises has worked just fine so far, hasn't it?

This kind of care is unaffordable in the amounts that people desire. That's reality.

How does that math work?

Go ahead and ignore her, Cohen. That’s EXACTLY what Mike Castle did. Look where it got him. Castle can blame anyone and everyone for his loss. The real reason is staring back at him in the mirror. He CHOSE to ignore his opposition. He CHOSE not to go before the voters. He CHOSE to run a negative campaign.
