AND here is the main point of the article, He nailed it!
In closing it is fantastically imperative to reiterate one fundamental element of Sarah Palins political and personal persona: she is first and foremost a Christian. Second, and equally as important, she is a Constitutionalist. Defining those terms in the context of how she will lead a country requires one simple review of the Founding Fathers. She has never allowed religion to interfere with her duties as a servant to the peopleever. She has forever listened to the voice of the peoplealways. She has in all public duties eschewed obfuscationconsistently. She is the one true voice of the peopleand so too have her soldiers, her armies, always been. This city on the hill has grown dim. Sarah Louise Palin is the lantern to light that torch for the world to once again turn towards.

What a refreshingly objective, phenomenally inclusive and well-researched look at America's brightest-shining political star. Goosebumps.

...In 1978, Krauthammer quit medical practice to direct planning in psychiatric research for the Jimmy Carter administration, and began contributing to The New Republic magazine. During the presidential campaign of 1980, Krauthammer served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale.
In January 1981, Krauthammer began his journalistic career, joining The New Republic as a writer and editor. His New Republic writings won the 1984 National Magazine Award for Essays and Criticism. In 1983, he began writing essays for Time magazine. In 1985, he began a weekly column for the Washington Post for which he won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for commentary...

Krauthammer served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale. So much for Charles' political instincts!

Great song from the day; even greater song FOR the day. Should be blasted at every Tea Party. (Added bonus it will make heads explode among any lefty counter protesters.)
