How can you be a staunch capitalist AND a social liberal? Capitalism and drug legalization aren't inherently contradictory. Similarly with capitalism and gay marriage or abortion. If you go past that and you start getting into the Democrats' list of things you either must do or are prohibited from doing, such as Obamacare. Since many of those are focused primarily at businesses most of modern liberalism is anti-capitalist.
