Satan worship is scary stuff. What possessed her? (No pun intended!)
The problem with Christine is she can't answer question about her past without sounding defensive and with a mild case of paranoia. Now she's ducking the media once again. Well, she had better have some simple explanations or people she needs to win in November will bail.
Agreed - satan worship is scary stuff.
But guess what? People live in either of two realms in this world. Those that are under the dominion of satan and sin.
And those that are in the realm of Christ and HIS Righteousness.
Whether its wiccan, worshiping material goods, focusing on self-indulgence - whatever name we want to call it - it is all slavery to sin and satan.
So Mrs. O'Donnell was once in this realm?
We all were at one time.
The Apostle Paul rightly points out the end of the people that exist in this realm:
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
But it doesn't have to be this end... God's Grace provides something much better. HE washes us clean, and takes us into HIS Kingdom:
1 Corinthian 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
So Mrs. O'Donnell apparently at one time had her walk with satan?
That means zip to me.
This describes everyone of us. What matters is with whom we are walking with today.
Ephesians 2:1-10 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Let Mrs. O'Donnell talk about the Lord's work in her life today. I could care less about what she was before she knew the Lord. Lost in sin? Doing stupid and destructive things? Welcome to the club.
