Barack Obama is reportedly steaming mad after learning that his mother-in-law is openly practicing Santeria in the White House.
72-year-old Marian Robinson, who lives in the White House and looks after Obama brats Sasha and Malia, began practicing the Afro-Hispanic witchcraft in the late 1980′s to help her ailing husband, who was crippled from multiple sclerosis. Robinson took him “to ceremonies where they did spells and trances, and sacrificed animals, chickens and goats,” which upset Michelle, a close friend reports. “But Marian was desperate and kept going anyway, even when her husband was to sick to go with her.” Michelle never brought up the incidents after her father passed away in 1993.
The friend says Robinson is now afraid for her health and recently invited an old friend with whom she practiced Santeria with to the White House. Michelle is said to have “flipped” when she saw the woman.
Hmmmm....first of all, all entries I can find on the web reference the same article on Town Hall by the same author quoting an unnamed source. Secondly - lefties are having a party with ‘racist’ and ‘right-wing smears’ as themes or mottos (portraying righties as racist liars).
If this is a left wing plant, it seems to be be implemented as planed. And the fact that the storm is over an anonymous unnamed source doesn’t look good. Better to take flack over something that matters and has sources. Which, adjusting my tinfoil hat, may have been the left’s conditioning of the reader (discrediting right wing sources in advance) to prepare us for some pretty disturbing rumors about Barack and then they’ll point to the mother-in-law-Santeria rumors to dispel perceived veracity.i.e. False Alarm
I don’t think you are indulging in yellow journalism or promoting falsehoods. I appreciate your posting here so we can get a look at something we’ll see around the web.
Obviously I have no privileged information and am just speculating myself.
All the articles I found by searching on Baracks’ Mother in law’s name pulled up glowing what-a-good-grandma articles in magazines like people or MSM outlets. Also - she doesn’t have the presumed Indonesian background that Barack’s family has. Her image, up until this point, is defensible (aw now the righties are picking on a poor lil’ ol grandma) if they did want to plant something. If it isn’t a plant and it has weathered time for a year or so, it seems harmless to the BO administration since it didn’t slow anyone down before. Heck, even the public admission about redistributing wealth that Barack made prior to election didn’t wing ‘em. :(

I suspect this is a bogus story. I suggest not biting on this one. The timing is too.........coincidental.
This sounds like the stories you see in those tabloid magazines near the checkout stands. The ones that feature 95 pound babies born to 75 year old women and alien spaceships crashing into silos. Those stories, like this one, are good for a laugh, but not much else.

Thank you for some sanity on that issue. They are two precious little children who have no say as to who their parents are or what they do.
I recall a comment by the late Molly Ivins (who never missed a chance to viciously slam George W. Bush) when asked to comment on some trouble GWB's daughters had gotten into. She simply replied, "I don't do children."
I have to credit Ivins with some class on that issue.
On that one issue I agree. Ivans did show class.
I am reminded of all the years the Republicans and the press kept hands off with Chelsea. For a full eight years there was hardly a peep about her in the media unless her parents were exploiting her for votes.
Then Bush became president, and when the press got a chance, they did their best to destroy his daughters.
Despicable.
