The first WTC bombing, 9/11, the Ground Zero Mosque, etc., etc. were or are all a result of our immigration policies and the broken enforcement apparatus. Period.
When I didn't wake up on 9/12 and see 435 co-sponsors for a bill to instantly deport all aliens from Muslim nations, triple the size of the Border Patrol and Customs, the Coast Guard, and INS, rescind all visas and permanently revoke the privilege to travel here and immigrate from 20 Muslim countries, that's when I knew our government was no longer ours.
The simplest,cheapest, most permanent solution we didn't even attempt.
Instead, I, an American whose family has been here for 200 years and never had one member of it in trouble for anything beyond a misdemeanor, has to stand with my shoes in one hand and hold my pants up with the other to board a plane.
