Simple, they are liberal Democrats and Republicans who what absolute power.

WHY? Because in the mind of a leftist, “criminality” is a VERY relative term! Given their near complete moral superiority, it is IMPOSSIBLE for a leftist to actually commit a criminal act. Only in the small, Limbaugh-influenced minds of the little people can our betters be viewed as imperfect. In short, all they DO is for the greater good and if they should somehow BENEFIT along the way, why, who could POSSIBLY be more deserving! A CRIME?? Why HELL no!! Merely a small, individual blessing for their infinite goodness and compassion.
I would suppose that if you are running a criminal enterprise you don’t want any other group to be able to oppose you.

Well, among people who aren't the mayor, does an honest man or a criminal stand more chance of getting shot? Why would making the subject of the question the mayor make a difference?
Anyone who is willing to violate the Constitution is very likely to be willing to violate lesser laws as well.
That being said, it's pretty obvious: Democrats are nearly universally opposed to an armed citizenry, and Democrats are far more predisposed to criminal behavior.
Because criminals always seek out an immoral and unethical edge over their victims. Next silly question.
