First Lady Michelle Obama returns to the campaign trial for the first time since 2008 next month, with the White House announcing her first wave of political travel in the run-up to the November election. The schedule released Tuesday has Mrs. Obama doing nine fund-raisers in seven cities. In a telephone briefing with two senior administration officials, reporters were told Mrs. Obama will be adding more events once they are finalized. Her schedule was crafted with input from the West Wing so she does not overlap with President Obama and Vice President Biden.

An excellent plan. Putting Michelle on the road to snarl her contempt for productive Americans will help re-establish the Democrats as “the Party of the little guy.” You betcha.
It would be really interesting to see our intrepid reporters of the MSM report on what food is served at these events, with a nutritional digest.
For example:
First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a fundraiser at Governor McNeal’s mansion Thursday night. Guests enjoyed hot puff pastry hors d’oevers (120 calories, 10 grams of fat, 22 grams of sodium each). The main dish consisted of rack of lamb (6 oz servings provided 322 calories, 14 grams of fat, with no added sodium), rice pilaf (210 calories, 6 grams of fat, 12 grams of sodium per serving), and asparagus with hollandaise sauce (240 calories, 14 grams of fat, 10 grams of sodium).
Several guests helped themselves to brioche on the table, many slathering them liberally with butter (100 calories per tablespoon). Also, most diners salted their lamb with salt shakers placed prominently in the center of the table.
Wine at 200 calories per glass flowed freely, but the worst nutritional damage came with dessert, a chocolate lava cake that provided 500 calories, 14 grams of fat, and 15 grams of sodium per serving. Senator Michaels was observed to eat two pieces; and several guests put sugar, cream, or in a display of intense depravity, both in their after dinner coffee.
