Fox poll shows O’Donnell down 15 points

The first survey conducted by Fox in Delaware after the primary election tells the story people more or less already knew. In a poll of 1,000 likely Delaware voters, Christine O’Donnell trails Chris Coons by 15 points, 54/39. Had the GOP nominated Mike Castle, he would have led Coons by 15, 48/33. It’s a very close resemblance to the Rasmussen poll that showed an 11-point gap in both directions between the three candidates just before the primary.

With wall to wall negative news this is no surprise. She has 2 million to spend at this point and once the people learn that a conservative is up against a Marxist , she is going to win.

Fox polling has always been one of the worst polling outfits.
On election day 2004, they said Bush would lose by 5 pts.

Hmmm, maybe she should talk to Dick Morris and get some advice. It really wouldn’t take all that much for her to get her message out but she needs to be standing up and saying to everyone “They think you don’t count, they think you want a professional politician who will tell you want you want to hear and do what they want once elected. But I know you, I’ve lived here with you all my life, you are what America is all about, you want someone who listens to YOU and votes accordingly.”

That would be better than another RINO embarrassing Republicans. Besides, Christine still has time to turn it around, and it would help if the establishment bums would quit trying to spite us. This nonsense works both ways. Perhaps the Tea Party should single out some “moderate Republicans” who have won their primaries and let them win without the conservative vote. Maybe it is time for everyone to grow up, and do what is necessary to win.

I could care less if she wins. The fact that she won the primary was message enough.

The correct phrase is "I couldn't care less", meaning you don't care at all. "I could care less" simply means that there's a possibility of you caring less, but you don't necessarily care less.

So the Delaware Republicans should have nominated Castle, so the knife in our backs would have a “R” on it instead of a “D”?

Somehow, I fail to see how that’s better.

I just donated to O’Donnell again, thanks for the heads up.

Her chances of winning in November are much higher than Castle’s are now.

RE: “She’ll bounce back after social voters get over a dumb thing she did as a TEENAGER.

I do think, though, that she should have emphasized more that it was wrong, and it was because she was a dumb teenager, rather than make light of it.

She did say it was wrong, but I think she should have emphasized that further.”

**************

I believe she will bounce back — I’m pretty darned conservative and leaned right as a teen/young adult but I had friends interested in witchcraft, too. Heck, everyone was interested in anything considered ‘weird’ at the time.

Wrote a composition on witchcraft in senior year of high school — hilarious — not a big deal — got an ‘A.’

Normally the left would have no problem with this witchcraft business but O’Donnell is touted by Conservatives so the left is out to get her. I’m in CA and can’t vote, of course, but all this to-do about witchcraft has been bugging me and I’m send her a nice contribution!

Yes, she does need to make sure people know how young she was when ‘dabbling’ in witchcraft. At first Maher made it sound like it was just ten years ago which would’ve put her at about 30 — turns out it was much earlier.

Hannity is an inarticulate shill for whomever will put him on the air.

One thing he isn’t is a sensible conservative.

Reading the questions and noticing no POLITICAL BREAKDOWN (point number 1) there was a huge oversampling of RATS in it, based on the questions and their responses (point number 2). Also, the TP/GOP candidates have been doing +3/+4 better than the best polls (point number 3) and the drive to the end is were voters will tend to break hard for O'Donnell (point number4).

My assessment is that O'Donnell is down by 5 or 6 and can easily make that up with the HUGE bankroll she has. Coons only has downward to go and is not polling at 50% or higher which is a great sign that he is still not liked, but the LSM is doing everything it can to "support" him.

If she runs her campaign like she did in the primaries, she's going to win a squeaker.

No one should trust a FOX poll. Biased. Sampling error.

Fox polling record is very dismal so I would not be too excited this . The primary was last week.

I would rather have a liberal Democrat than a liberal Republican representing Delaware. At least that way, he will only embarrass the Dems, and the GOP won’t feel compelled to defend him.

“The RINO’s came in handy today!”

Only because there’s an election in 6 weeks. After Nov. 2nd, they will be RINOs again.
