Since we were told that homosexuality was about the actions of consenting adults in private, when do these CHILDREN get to consent to being raised in alternative lifestyle homes?

Akin to ruling adoption by the mentally ill is unconstitutional. Or felons. Or child molesters. Or any other class of people to whom you do not want to entrust the welfare of a child. It’s an outrage and if this is the quality of the rulings we can expect from the judiciary, we’d be better off without a judiciary.
Another evil ruling by another court that places its preferences above that of the legislature and the people of Florida. There's a word for that: it's tyranny.

This is just my 2 cents worth but I was left in the streets at the age of 3. Placed in an orphanage, then a foster home and adopted at the age of 8 by a married couple, man and a women. It was easy for me to identify who to call dad and who to call mom!!

It looks like it is now open season on children in Florida. The courts are out of control. In view of AMERICAN COLLEGE OF PEDIATRICIANS stand on homosexual adoption, this is insanity.

The family environment in which children are reared plays a critical role in forming a secure gender identity, positive emotional well-being, and optimal academic achievement. Decades of social science research documents that children develop optimally when reared by their two biological parents in a low conflict marriage. The limited research advocating childrearing by homosexual parents has severe methodological limitations. There is significant risk of harm inherent in exposing a child to the homosexual lifestyle. Given the current body of evidence, the American College of Pediatricians believes it is inappropriate, potentially hazardous to children, and dangerously irresponsible to change the age-old prohibition on homosexual parenting, whether by adoption, foster care, or reproductive manipulation. This position is rooted in the best available science.
Court decisions like this one underline the importance of selecting sensible judges. Who appointed the judges who appointed themselves emperors with the power to turn morality on its head? Judges cannot turn wrong into right by their words and deeds. Judges can only make fools of themselves by attempting to place themselves above the people they claim to serve.
