Court Yard Hounds were the two taller attractive Dixie Chicks?

The fat loud mouth lib one married to a moo-slim looks like she turned dyke. I think the other two girls were not totally on board with the ranting.

Reminds me of David Crosby and The Byrds when they threw him out for ranting at the Monterey Pop Festival.

The Dixie Chicks really destroyed their career. Do any country stations play their crap anymore? I thought most stations dropped them like a lead balloon.

They didn't break up the Dixie Chicks. Natalie didn't feel like going into the studio and the other 2 did so they just took another name. The Chicks reunited to tour with The Eagles but that flopped and most of their shows got canceled due to poor ticket sales. They placed most of the blame for that on The Eagles for trying to sell high-priced tickets in a down concert market but I'm sure having an unpopular supporting act didn't help their cause.

Most, if not all, country stations still do not play music from The Dixie Chicks. Here in Dallas, the program director of one of the country stations was the first to pull their music after Natalie Maines opened her mouth. Ms. Maines opened her mouth and torpedoed what WAS an awesome career for that trio.

I liked their music, but I steadfastly REFUSE to buy or listen to their music now. I would rather listen to the dulcet tones of Mark Levin, The Great One.

I have a farm/country station on all the time and I have not heard the Dixie Chicks since they put so much poo on the floor and rolled around in it. In fact I have never even heard of them since then.

I also thought that until their big interview ( 60 Minutes? ). The girls supported Maines' statements but it wasn't wholehearted almost as if to say " What else are we going to do?" Never heard those two comment again on the anti Bush drivel since then.

I listen to Country Music stations from Nashville to St Pete. I've never heard a Dixie Chicks song - not once. Why worry a lick about them when there's Miranda Lambert? She's country, talented and very very hot.

They did. They also won't play the Courtyard Hounds music either.

Of course they blame everyone but themselves because no one wants to listen to their music.

According to them the mean ole radio stations are the ones behind the boycott. Forget that listeners are the ones who DICTATE what radio stations will or will not play.
