Maybe she is experiencing something isolated. I’m a bit past college so I have no first hand experience as to what is going on today. She made the situation sound so matter of fact. As if it was odd for me not to know about this kind of stuff. I was amazed that the professor in her class yesterday actually told a room full of students that they can forget about “trading” him for a better grade.

Maybe there had just been an incident of this happening and students were talking about it. It DOES happen and it has happened where my husband works. But far and away the real story is how hard these people work and how dedicated they are. The professors where my husband works make a lot less than kindergarten teachers in the school district here. But they work very hard. I’ve taken a lot of classes there myself and have been very impressed. I have not found it true that teacher teach because they can’t do.
