I’m so happy you “chimed” in. Please come back soon.
Illegal to set a trap like that.
YOu gots to be sitting there fearing for you life when a perp comes to take what is yours. If ya shoots them like this then it is legal.
But ya gots to be a fearin for your own safety.
Course if you have a Remington shotgun and they have a spork then that could be a different situation so bring a butter knife that doesn’t match the other ones in your home.
Times are tough in the industry right now. There may be a reason someone doesn't want pictures.
There is no tape - idiot reporting.
They use an SD card mostly.
pre meditated......you would be charged
Hopefully the homeowner used a Cuddeback Trail camera.
They have a web site at Cuddeback.com where buyers of their trail cams can post their photos.
It is probably the best chance of catching the perp.
I got one of these on a whim (somebody sent me a Bass Pro gift card!). Set it in my back yard by the porch just to see what would happen. Well, it looks like a ZOO out there! Animals are showing up that we didn’t even know were in our area. I’m know I’m probably not going to find any burglars or terrorists with this thing, but it is amazing to find out what “stalks around in your back yard” after dark. If you get a gift card and are looking for something you DO NOT need, this is a perfect gift for yourself! :-)
Yes I know that's why I was stating that it was a shame it was illegal.
The cameras don’t use “tape” They record on an SD card.
