Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani slammed US President Barack Obama as an "international villain" for his comments on Iran and warned that Teheran needs to be vigilant during its confrontation with Washington, according to a Fars news agency report on Sunday.
"Today, the US is standing against the Iranian nation, Obama should know that we do not want his messages, rather we need to be able to trust his words," Larijani said during an address in Iran's Southern province of Fars on Saturday.
Larijani spoke about Obama's recent remarks on Iran and asked "how dare Obama announce that he wants to help the Iranian nation? He should know that he is an international villain, he has never sided with the Iranian nation."

Let’s be VERY CLEAR:
Firstly, if any one wants to make any claims, for sure, on the inclination of the “Iranian Nation” vs. “Iranian-Islamic Regime”, then let the “Iranian Nation” decide in a fair, unbiased & impartial REFERENDUM, overseen by an impartial, external panel - whether the Iranian Nation/People Still want an Islamic Regime/govt in charge, or one that separates Mosque & State (Secular). Otherwise, the rest is nonsense/speculation/propaganda.
Secondly, for Barack Obama: why omit his middle-name: Barack HUSSEIN Obama (BHO)?
BHO’s father was a muslim, was he not? Therefore, BHO is also a muslim (most definitely in Islamic tradition/law). BHO knows it & that his mother, in Islamic Law/tradition, is secondary.
If BHO did *formally* convert to Christianity or another religion, or denies being a muslim, then, according to Islamic law/tradition, he can well be considered an apostate.
100’s of muslims with similar backgrds & in circumstances are considered apostates & subjected to abominable treatments by muslim crowds (overtly or convertly) throughout the world.
Of course, most of them are not POTUS, nor any one famous. Leniency in such a case, for the average muslim born person, is a rare luxury, not the norm, by most muslim communities - the muslims see a conversion out of Islam as shameful, to say the least.
