John Kerry: Democrats’ woes stem from uninformed voters

A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.

Conservative political blogger William Jacobson, who writes Legal Insurrection, immediately pounced on Kerry’s comments, saying that attitude is why voters are looking to shake up Capitol Hill by electing upstart candidates such as U.S. Sen. Scott Brown

Yes, if the great unwashed masses would just listen to what we elites tell them to do them all will be well. Kerry’s comment is typical of liberal elitism which at its core believes that the vast majority of people are too dumb to make the “right” choices in their lives and need elites in government and media to make those decisions for them.

His statement could not live in the land of logic...the longer the dems are in charge, the more we learn about them.

The pretend president was flying high when he was first elected, but now that we have seen who he really is, and who the dems who support him are, the more we know about the kind of people they are.

We have been invaded by an almost-complete coup, and the only thing that will stop it short of military intervention, is November 2nd.

John Kerry is Jane Fonda with a d**k...we assume. He cares naught for this country and will say any negative thing he can against it.

He thinks the man he couldn't beat in a presidential election - Bush - is evil, and obama is good. That proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that Kerry is a maroon.

He needs to put one of his band-aid purple hearts over his big mouth.

John Kerry is right - DEMOCRATS don’t pay attention and don’t know what or who they are voting on. Unfortunately for him, Republicans and Independents DO pay attention, which explains why he was on the ballot for President (DEMS who don’t know a thing put him there) and why he lost, despite a press that rallied around him at every turn (Republicans and Independents are informed.)

And, of course, the republicans lost in 2006 and 2008 because they weren’t liberal enough.

Liberal message: Don’t worry, be happy (even though we are driving you and the whole country over a cliff)
