The driver of the vehicle did not stop, police said. Ramon Parra Saucedo, 74, was located a short time later.
Saucedo is charged with DUI, 2 counts of Endangerment, and 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, said Carol Capas, a Cochise County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman. He is being held in the Cochise County Jail. Bond is set at $5,000.
Saucedo is a U.S. citizen, Capas said.

Saucedo is a U.S. citizen, Capas said. Did they ask to see his "papers"? Isn't that "racial profiling"?

In an odd way, I’m relieved. At first, I thought there might be a conspiracy against this woman directed by the gangs.

No reason it couldn’t be. The Mexican gangs are dug in on both sides of the border now.

This a homocide! It may not be murder, but a man was killed. And this guy gets out on a 5K bpnd? Put the damn judge in jail in his place.

I would put this down to just a drunk driving accident. This and some other parts of Arizona have old, mixed white and ethnically Mexican-American communities, generally well integrated, which are mostly good people, and a few losers.
So this is just a case of a drunk loser slamming his car into a good person.
To: navyblue
This guy is not implicated in the murder of her husband. As it appears now, he is just a local drunk.

The accident happened yesterday evening when Krentz’s widow and another woman were leaving the local Catholic church after the Saturday evening Mass.
To: tanuki
Just because this scum is an American citizen, it doesn't negate the possibility that he is doing something for a gang. But you can be sure that the media will not post ANY connections if they happen to stumble upon any. Just about all of the people smuggling and drug smuggling coming across the Southern biorder has some 'citizen' contacts in the states to help them.

Even if he is a US citizen, bail bond is what? Ten percent? He might just think it worth it to lose a few bucks and skip back over the line.
