GOProud Pays Lots Of Money To Be Demeaned By Homophobic Racist
09/26/10-by Bridgette P. LaVictoire
Homocon is exactly what Ann Coulter did yesterday. She conned a group of homosexuals to give her money while she demeaned them and went on in a very racist fashion. She apparently made a series of jokes and then went ahead and stated the predominantly wealthy conservative lesbians and gays that they should oppose marriage equality and said I should warn you: Ive never failed to talk gays out of gay marriage.
She then went on to parrot the usual run of why lesbians and gays should nto be allowed to get married including stating that Marriage is not a civil right. Youre not black.
She also used the same logic as Justice Antonin Scalia about why lesbians and gays should not be allowed to get married in that the Fourteenth Amendment does not, according to her and the Justice, apply to anyone but African-Americans.
*snip*
She went after sex education, including claiming that the Democrats wanted to teach five year olds about fisting, to which someone yelled whats wrong with fisting? She suggested that GOProud should support anti-abortion groups, which are usually also vehemently anti-LGBT, because as soon as they find the gay gene, you know whos getting aborted. She also talked about how parents dont want their children learning about the homosexual lifestyle.
*snip*
Of course, one has to wonder what the fiscal credentials of a group must be for them to waste money and time on someone who they all knew was homophobic and unwilling to support LGBT issues in any form.

I snipped this up to post the most salient (IMO) parts of the article.
The website calls it's self "A Gay Girl's View on The World."

With their vitriol, they bless her. Good to see she gave them their money’s worth.

Coulter also blamed the decline in marriage among African-Americans on welfare and the subsidization of single parenting.
And, of course, on liberal child support laws. She also talked about civil rights being only for the blacks and Blacks must be looking at the gays saying, Why cant we be oppressed like that? She made the last in reference to the amount of wealth that is supposedly in the LGBT Community (which is a myth)

Yes, like I posted on the other thread, all the worries and handwringing about her “selling-out” were ridiculous, because she never has, so why in the heck would she start with her appearance at GOProud, given that Ann has always been against gay marriage?

The debate about whether Ann Coulter is pro- or anti-gay was not settled Saturday night after her highly-anticipated appearance Saturday at Homocon 2010, the first annual convention of gay conservatives sponsored by gay GOP group GOProud.
Coulter had received heat from social conservatives for her decision to speak at the New York City event.
The conservative celebrity was called a deserter by the Christian conservative group American Family Association (AFA).
Count Ann Coulter and Glenn Beck as the latest deserters in the culture war and in the battle for sexual normalcy, AFA's Bryan Fischer wrote at the group's website, referring to Beck's recent pronouncement that gay marriage is not a threat. They have flinched at 'precisely that little point which the world and the devil
are attacking,' and so have forfeited the right to consider themselves any longer culture warriors.
And about Farah:
Coulter's move also cost her a speaking gig at World Net Daily's (WND) Taking America Back National Conference in Miami.
Joseph Farah, editor and CEO of WND, rescinded an invitation for her to speak at the conference.
Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about 'taking America back' when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very 'unconservative' agenda represented by GOProud, Farah said.
Hay Joe, have some crow!

Yea, she was well excoriated here at FR by the posters that have a problem wrapping their minds around her superior intellect and ability to put words together in a sardonic witty manner.
She did good!

Yea, she was well excoriated here at FR by the posters that have a problem wrapping their minds around her superior intellect and ability to put words together in a sardonic witty manner. She did good! Yep, and it wasn't just "some" posters - it was a freeking storm of unified vitriol against one of THE most conservative warriors in America. It was utterly disgusting, and every one of those martinets is hiding under their beds whistling until this event goes down the memory hole.
But it's educational - these jackass Freepers have proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the sheeple herd mentality they so denounce in liberals and Leftists is fully alive and well on the conservative side, under the right conditions.
And let me be really, really clear, here - I'm NOT talking about unified conservative views, but rather unified conservatives bunched together in a cowardly lynching party, who then make like a hole in the water when they are exposed as tools of bigotry willing to attack American due process if given a torch, pitchfork, and a little gold star.
In the case of hypocrisy, Left and Right is utterly irrelevent - it's the lack of character that's so ungodly repulsive, and the REAL threat to America in the long run.

I'm glad to see that the homosexuals were having their own convention. GOProud was one of the sponsors of the last CPAC. They are not conservatives and therefore did not belong there as a group.
She went after sex education, including claiming that the Democrats wanted to teach five year olds about fisting, to which someone yelled whats wrong with fisting?
This is the very type of occurance you can expect if they become a fixture at CPAC or other conservative or Republican events.
The response is not surprising, by the way. To homosexuals, it's all about sex. Notice that the response had nothing to do with the age of the children. For a five year old, there shouldn't be much more than "Your baby brother is in mommy's tummy."
The he!! they don't want to recruit!

It was a multi-thread, seemingly endless page after page of anti-Coulter posts, and only for her “accepting the invitation to speak to the homosexual group, for her speaker’s fee.”
Capitalism!
Yes, she did very good. Ann Coulter is a bona fide conservative, (provided she doesn’t back Romney again).

Hay Joe, have some crow!Oh, that Joe.
From the cheapseats it looked like she had jumped the shark. No small number of people were hurt and baffled by that. But, apparently not.
You gotta admit, the impact would just not have been the same otherwise.
Good for her. I wonder if crow recipies are going to become a 'hot search item' on Google?

How about just teaching, say, teens that gays die decades earlier than straights?
Isn’t it more dangerous than smoking cigarettes? If so, why encourage a dangerous activity?
To: Lauren BaRecall
There is NOTHING conservative about the gay agenda. NOTHING.
Fiscal conservatism is unrelated to the gay agenda and they know that. Gays, like anyone else, can be fiscally conservative, and that’s great, but it’s not part of their gay agenda, not matter how they try to spin it.
