Daytona leader faces absentee ballot probe (No mention of party affiliation?)

A city commissioner who won re-election last month by a wide margin is at the center of a criminal investigation after nearly 80 absentee ballots were requested from a computer belonging to him, Volusia County's elections supervisor said Friday...on Aug. 6 and 7 and they came from two e-mail addresses and one computer, McFall said.

The computer has been traced to Daytona Beach City Commissioner Derrick Henry, who handily won his Zone 5 city contest during the Aug. 24 primary election by 65 percent, McFall said.

Snip...

Thursday morning, several search warrants were executed in the investigation...

The 41-year-old Henry, an assistant principal at Mainland High School, also has an office at Daytona Beach City Hall... HE did not return phone messages.

If charged, Henry would face a third-degree felony, with a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Snip...

When the first batch of absentee ballot requests arrived at the elections office the night of Aug. 6 -- 40 requests at one time -- it made McFall suspicious.

The following day, Aug. 7, another 15 requests for absentee ballots were received from the same e-mail address and the same computer, McFall said.

"Some of them (the voters) had voted early and some of them had not voted since 2000," she said.

McFall's office then received another 17 requests for absentee ballots from the same computer, but this time the individual making the request sent a different e-mail address, she said.

Henry picked up 799 votes, while Henderson and Fordham garnered 212 and 218 votes respectively, election results show.

If he is charged in this case, Henry would be removed from office and a special election would be held to fill his seat, McFall said.

This is only part of it. The names of those supposedly requesting absentee ballots were frequently misspelled, with wrong birhtdates, address and incorrect spelling of their own names. In other words, its total fraud by another DEMOCRAT.

I’m sure most people are unaware this kind of fraud and much more is going on all across the country.

Looks like Daytona Beach Mainland High School is really on a roll (curruption wise) this year!

Mainland High coach John Maronto resigns

September 22, 2010|By Buddy Collings, Orlando SentinelDAYTONA BEACH

Mainland High School football coach John Maronto submitted his resignation Wednesday, stepping away from a saga that has clouded the Buccaneers' season since he was arrested Sept. 4 on a charge of soliciting a prostitute.

His case is pending.

Maronto's resignation ended one of the most successful coaching runs in Central Florida football history. He went 140-39, with 14 consecutive playoff appearances at Mainland since 1996, including a 2003 Class 5A championship that is the only state football title won by a Volusia County school.

Daytona Beach Zone 5:

http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2008-12-16/news/daytona16_1_daytona-beach-daytona-international-speedway-advisory-board

From the article:

(Zone 5) It includes the midtown neighborhoods northeast of Daytona International Speedway and has 6,677 registered voters. About 58 percent of voters are black, and nearly half are registered Democrats.

OBTW, for those who don’t know, Daytona Beach Florida, the home of Daytona International Speedway (where part of Zone 5 is located), and Bethune Cookman College, has a total black population of 38%.

When it comes to influencing an election (INCLUDING LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL), It’s an ACORN management wet dream.

"Daytona leader faces absentee ballot probe (No mention of party affiliation?)"

Absentee Ballots should be made very difficult to obtain. Sickness claims supported by a letter from a doctor, absentee claims supported by an employer letter etc. The current situation is nothing but institutionalised criminal fraud - usually practiced by Democrats.

I must point out that city and county races here in Volusia Co are non-partisan. However, Daytona Beach itself has a severe rat infestation. That’s why most people who can afford to move to Port Orange or Ormond Beach.

My daily ping only relates to illegal immigration. I pinged that particular thread because it had to do with voter fraud and illegal immigrants. If this thread does as well, I don’t see it.

Yeah, he won alright and it was due to the stupidity of a demographic who should never be allowed to vote.
