Obama in Command: The Rolling Stone Interview (Obama: Fox News Destroying America)

SNIP

What do you think of Fox News? Do you think it's a good institution for America and for democracy?

[Laughs] Look, as president, I swore to uphold the Constitution, and part of that Constitution is a free press. We've got a tradition in this country of a press that oftentimes is opinionated. The golden age of an objective press was a pretty narrow span of time in our history. Before that, you had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view. It's a point of view that I disagree with. It's a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world. But as an economic enterprise, it's been wildly successful. And I suspect that if you ask Mr. Murdoch what his number-one concern is, it's that Fox is very successful.

And what was his response when asked about his thoughts on MSNBC?

Professor Obama is about to flunk "America 101". Big time.

Oh gee thanks. Make my original post read 'FIRST GRADE'.

If there is EVER a national whine competition set up for political jerks who cannot accept responsibility or have to over blow their actions to erase thought of their immense failures, uhbama will win hands down.

Add first grade like 'blame the invisible friend' tactics to uhbama's growing list of psychotic like denial penchants.

BTW-really nice tagline.

What bothers Premier Hussein about Fox News is that the truth is very damaging to him and his agenda. I think many of us who watch Fox have serious reservations about a lot of their programming; Whorealdo and Shepherd Smith’s continued employment there being two very good examples.

But Fox is covering news that the rest of the networks either ignore completely or spin in the Regime’s favor. This story is akin to when Clinton exploded on the radio that Rush Limbaugh was on the air three hours a day “with no truth detector”. As we all know, Rush still considers himself America’s Truth Detector, and Premier Hussein cares for Rush even less than he does for Fox.

The flak is always heaviest directly over the target.

Started to read the whole thing.

Nearly lost breakfast.

Whiner. Victim. Crybaby. None of these terms do justice. All America should see this whole tantrum. Revolting.

All America would cry out in one voice: man up! Grow up. I swear, My kids were using this tone and these words as adolescents. By18 they were more mature.

You couldn’t even argue with such an immature argument as this interview.

Makes me sick and sad. If my children argued like this in their 20s I’d tell them the same thing: GTFU!

Well that's a total 180 degree lie.

The kind of message we typically get from RATs. They lie about everything, and if they say it, you can assume the exact opposite is true.

Perhaps he’ll have a breakdown after Congress goes against him this fall...

It would be great to have him, on camera, break down and curse out the “infidel” Americans, in perfectly fluent Arabic.

“Congress shall make no law abridging Islam, nor freedom of speech, unless it offends a protected Liberal group, nor freedom of the press, unless it is fair and balanced, nor freedom of assembly, unless there are “too many White people”, nor the right to petition the government for the redress of grievances, unless Obama wins, then it’s racist to.”

Things are going wrong for little Barry and we starting to see the real Obama.

No big surprise here. Conservatives, especially the Freepers, have been predicting this for the last two years.

Just wait. This RS interview is just the warm up act. Wait and see Obama’s rage come out in all of its glory once the Republicans capture Congress. It won’t be pretty.

Obama totally ignores that cable news is a 24 hour enterprise. No other media in history has had to fill that amount of time with information.

Therefore, they do news (Brett Baire, Shep Smith), commentary (O'Reilly, Hannity, etc.), business (Cavuto, crew, and network too) and even entertainment (Huckabee, Fox & Friends)

Obama is also a liar: not to acknowledget that all other news outlets are also doing the same thing is simply dishonest by ommission.

He's also a liar in that Fox News always goes out of its way to pick a strong advocate of the liberal viewpoint to provide balance. The others will match one weak conservative with 3-4 liberals, or they will have no true conservative voice at all.

It's like having Sally Quinn as a religious writer: what she knows of religion can be found entirely within the brain of gay Episcopal Bishop, Vicki Gene Robinson (a male). In short, all liberal all the time is not going to give perspective.

But they don't care. Balance is not in their vocabulary.

“Perhaps he’ll have a breakdown . . . “

I swear that RS interview sounds like he’s on the edge of a Walter Mondale moment.

Hey, dirtbag, what do you say about MSNBC? They’re covering up your dirty laundry every single day. What a hypocrite. Silence FOX NEWS but let the imbeciles on MSLSD continue spreading their poison against conservatives and the Tea Party.

This was a REALLY bad move on the part of his advisors. Hope they keep it up.

O is going to get shredded over some of the statements in here. This getting released early in the week will likely knock any other message to the back pages.

Rahm’s revenge?

If I was Barry I’d pray every night for a Republican victory in November. It takes the pressure off and gives him a villain in a Republican Congress. It worked for Clinton. He can even blame the budget deficit on them since Congress controls the purse strings. The GOP has done nothing in the past to control government spending and there’s no reason to think they will when they get in again. They talk real pretty though.

This just begs the question - Why doesn’t FOX news have a nightly network news like ABCCBSNBC does at 6:00? I know it would be successful and there are still a whole bunch of people who mostly watch the big four instead of cable or satellite. Put Brit or Bret on against the other three and in six months they would draw more than a third from each easily.
