I think he was torqued and I don't blame him. They're not professional dancers and the judges in WEEK 2 seemed to expect them to be.
Abusing the competitors will likely lead to celebs saying no when asked to appear on the show. I know if I was an established entertainer I wouldn't want the gay guy Bruno attacking me the way he did Bolton. Just my .02.

Bolton clearly did not want to be there. After the first dance and the criticism I think he picked up his ball and bat and wanted to go home.
