TMZ.com ^ | 09/29/2010 | TMZ

Posted on 09/29/2010 5:34:25 AM PDT by diverteach

The former housekeeper for Meg Whitman -- the Republican candidate for Governor of California -- is about to make "controversial and explosive allegations about her former employer," TMZ has learned.

092710_meg_whitman_getty We're told the housekeeper has lawyered up with none other than Gloria Allred. The housekeeper and Allred will hold a news conference today in Gloria's office at 11 AM PT, "to tell how she suffered as a long-time, Latina household employee in Meg Whitman's home.

We're told the housekeeper will be filing a legal claim against Ms. Whitman.

From what we're hearing, the disclosures could have a significant impact on the campaign and possibly the election.

We will, of course, live stream the news conference. It doesn't matter where you live -- Don't miss this one.

Do we smell the stench of of a leftist publicity whore, right up Gloria Allred's alley?

Please don't mention stench and Gloria Allred's alley in the same sentence.

“Allred is nothing more than an inconsequential publicity whore.”

Yeppers, and she’ll be all over CNN, MSNBC, GMA, Today and probably FNC and any other station she can get her mug on. Only to say something like, my client, who was extremely hard working, has a legtimate claim about how she was poorly treated and underpaid, blah, blah, blah, but I can’t get into the details right now. You’ll see more about them when we file the formal complaint. Oh, and Ms Whitman kicked her dog, too.

Don’t be too sure it’ll backfire. This is California, after all.

“This nonsense is aimed at keeping the Latino vote on the Democrat plantation. It is such an obvious political stunt that only a moron would fall for it. That’s why it will work in California...”

You have it nailed 100%.

This is why the Republican candidates should have been talking about the coming October Surprises in early September - so at least the voters would be thinking about the smears and considering them for what they were. But that would require a bit of strategy and leadership from the Republican candidates.

If the woman was an illegal alien, it’s not going to look good for Whitman.

Probably won't hurt her except for her Tele Mundo audience. (for those that do't know. NutMeg has ads that are aired in espanol on Mexican stations)

Sorry, I’m pulling for the Democrats to sweep California’s state government. California is going to fall apart anyway. It’s better that the Democrats get the blame.

California exists for one reason: to entertain the rest of the country. Who better for that than Jerry Brown?

Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!

Here’s a lesson to all the wealthy people in California, your cheap lawnboys and below market rate bedwarmers didn’t really like you anyway, so there.

Bears repeating. You get what you pay for.

All the usual left-wing characters/themes here. A rich white Republican and “oppressed and mistreated” minority, represented by Gloria Allred of course! 1 month before the election.

“The MSM is the greatest threat there is to our great country,...we complain about it but we never come up with a way to destroy or even just neutralize the MSM. Any thoughts?”

You are right, with the possible exception of our public school system. I hope your post triggers some good ideas, turning into action, momentum, and finally results.

It takes an incredible amount of money to start/takeover a tv station, maybe we could backroll one small viewing area first (a small state?) and expand from there.

The national MSM can make effective noise yet when you only have a couple of candidates involved ~ they did that with Scott Brown ~ and "to" Martha Moakley (remember her having a staff aide push that "newsie" onto a sharp kneehigh picket fence).

When you have a total election today's MSM just can't keep up with it all. Bloggers can "focus" but they can't necessarily get to the audience since that audience has a choice these days.

BTW, Moakley is running for another job ~ and so far she's stayed her hand from attempting murder, but can she resist the temptations. No doubt she hungers for greater MSM attention!

Just one question regarding the housekeeper...

Guilty or not guilty?

California is going to fall apart anyway.

I have taken to calling California, the former "Golden State", the "Iron Pyrite State", because any productive American who willingly moves there is a FOOL and will be getting Fool's Gold!

Looks like the RATS can't wait till October for the "October surprises" to begin.

Or that Pete Wilson has found yet another way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Any thoughts?

Breitbart is on the right track. He finds big stories, gets Fox to promote them and builds infrastructure waiting for more people to get faster computers with full broadband. When the customer base gets there, he'll be there on an equal footing with the MSM without the burden of their cash flow demands to maintain their dying broadcast arm.
