Many millions receive this vaccine. It is statistically probable that some will get seriously and even critically ill in the days and weeks following even if it has absolutely nothing to do with the vaccination.
Reports that a relatively small number of people got sick and died in the weeks following their vaccination does not show that Gardisil was the cause. It is important that such illnesses and deaths were reported to the FDA so they could investigate if there was a direct connection, or if the vaccine made them more susceptible to other illnesses.
However that does not mean that the deaths were tied to Gardisil.
