Thanks for the ping to a good read. I could talk about the multiple officers I’ve dealt with in my half a century, but I won’t. Just when you think you’ve seen them all, another one pops up. I’ve never been arrested and thrown in jail, yet, and I’m proud of that. The cop I want to talk about is one from 30 years ago. He stopped me, said a real prayer for me, and let me go. He had the greatest effect on me of all them.
I think we all have stories. I know I have several. Some good, some that frightened me. I always keep in mind that the officers are on duty to serve and protect, and I am not a criminal.
