But that still doesn’t tell who TOOK the photo, the photogapher, the news agency, etc. How did they get access to the Washington Monument, if that’s where it was taken from? Etc. We don’t want to be passing along what might turn out to be a bogus image.

Ah thank you Minus, I see that according to the data you posted (here’s your link again http://www.flickr.com/photos/njpitney/5045134373/meta/) the picture was taken at 12:04PM EDT. I am having a bit of trouble finding the schedule to determine peak attendance.

The overhead shot of the 10-2-10 rally IS DECEPTIVE!!! Here’s why: as the EXIF data from the photo clearly shows, the picture was taken at 12:04 PM. Why is that important?!?
