The verdict in Geert Wilders' trial for inciting hatred will be announced two days later than originally planned, the Amsterdam court said on Friday.

The leader of the PVV anti-Islam party faces five charges of religious insult and anti-Muslim incitement in the trial, which begins on Monday. The court says it needs seven days to hear the evidence.

Heck, I do that before breakfast, that is, if you were to pretend that Islam is a religion.

“...five charges of religious insult and anti-Muslim incitement.” They try people for stuff like that? Next, they’ll start trying people for lusting in their hearts.

"anti-Muslim incitement"

Damascus Netherlands what is the difference?

On the brighter side:
To even bring this to court means the left is deathly afraid of Islam.

The tone is changing rapidly in Holland. A long time friend of mine is Dutch as we post e-mails to each other almost weekly on this subject. Another friend’s wife here in the states is Dutch as well and her family is connected to Geert.

What is going on over there that we don’t hear about is the same as here in that Geert is the figurehead leader of their version of the Tea Party. As a matter of fact, the Tea Party movement here is spreading around the world. They are organizing based on our model.

Right now they essentially have a deadlocked parliment with Geert and his group setting in the prime position to eventually attain power once another election is called. I see this decision of the court to be one of indecision because they are now painfully aware a move to convict him would start a $h!tstorm the liberals do not want.

Have heart, we are winning the day for individual freedoms.

“Geert is the figurehead leader of their version of the Tea Party”

Wilders is a figurehead the same way Churchill and Reagan were.

You are exactly right.

You remember the 60's and how the left changed the world into the dark ages? It would seem a new awakening is taken place just as it did about 300 years ago. The difference is we don't have a united base as they did with religion back then.

The only base we all agree on and accept is that government is to powerful. It took decades for the establishment to accept the change in attitude.

Just as the great awakening happened in three phases the Tea Party will take time for a real change in attitude.

BTW- when I mean dark ages I mean we are in the second dark age now. Just as then government was to powerful.

Two examples of modern dark age thinking:
Remember the theocracy pushed the belief the world was flat back then?
Here are two new ones:
'Global warming' during technically an Ice Age.
'CO2 is sky rocketing' when it is dangerously low. Plants stop growing at 200 ppm CO2. The earths average for hundreds of millions of years was 3000 ppm we are at around 300 ppm now.

I am sorry.. I keep babbling sometimes :)
