TOPICS: Government
KEYWORDS: government; pay
Collective bargaining by public employees was illegal for most of the history of the U.S. Reason: simple! Raises are granted by the Government. but paid for by the 50% of us who pay taxes. We are "cut out" of the loop.

My daughter has health problems, migraines, asthma, seems to catch almost everything, so she ended up working for the county because it has good benefits and she’s almost impossible to fire. She can barely stand the work ethic of her co workers after having been in our family construction business but at least some of her supervisors have noticed that she has way more initiative than most of her co-workers.

So, out of all those items in the list which ones do you think should be reversed first?

(I presume you disagree with all of them BTW, which is why I ask for a ranking).

but paid for by the 50% %100 of us who pay taxes

sorry, but from my perspective, federal employees dont pay taxes...actually any govt. worker...including the military...a 75k federal worker, who pays 25k in taxes....the way I look at it, works for 50k tax free..aka civil SERVICE...aka military SERVICE
