I do hope these folks remain in the cities when TEOTWAWKI... THEY'LL MAKE GREAT LONG PIG
Some people are just stuck on stupid.
Welcome to the post-racial era of BHØ. The standard of living for blacks has gone DOWN under this Administration. But you’d have to be standing among at least 10 African Americans to find just ONE who realizes that fact. The plantation is alive and well.
just means that when Barry loses his job in ‘12 a huge rift will open and race relations in this country will go back to what they were around the time of Selma.
Good question. All human’s are biased to their own theories, beliefs and world views so it is near impossible to tell what MSM pundits/writers really believe, especially since they typically do the cross examination and never let themselves be put in the hotseat. .
Another Example : Do liberals really believe that Keynesian stimulus in the form of welfare, food stamps, unemployment comp and tax credits really create significant job growth in that they can pay for themselves as they claim each Democrat jobs bill?
Most Republicans don't know enough to challenge this, in fact many use GWB as the shining example of capitalism's successes (this is a real loser argument.)
Every-so often liberals like Krugman get confronted by someone who actually knows history enough to ask him :”If government make work projects really jump-start the economy, then why did the great Depression last 12 years 1929-1941 under Roosevelt's massive government interaction?” Have you ever heard how they respond to this question?
They (the brilliant Krugman’s ) actually respond saying that WWII was the shining example of Keynesian stimulus saving us from the great depression after 12 years. Yes, they are saying we need a economic stimulus program equivalent to WWII to get us out of the great depression, you know WWII?? Where most of the male labor force was sent outside the country (drafted and not making minimum wage either) many not coming back alive; and price controls and shortages of most consumer products, the equivalent of tens of trillions of dollars of debt that resulting in incredible punishing tax rates of up to 90%. The only thing that saved us then was the USA had the only surviving (relatively) modernized industry in the world after WWII. These liberals have no way to give us that monopoly now with welfare programs. Some think trade tarifs can re-create the post WWII world economy, good luck on that.
This is completely laughable economic theory that educated liberals may not even believe themself (how could they?) , but few Republicans know enough to effectively challenge these liberals on it.
It’s because of the obvious reason.
Well, I wouldn't go that far. Blacks turned on Hooks, Evers, and Abernathy when they endorsed Reagan over Carter.
Yes blacks filled the voting polls two years ago to finally elect one of their own. But make no mistake, if the handouts stop, or are curtailed, the same numbers will not show up to reelect him.
Most whites will dance around the issue for fear of being labeled 'racist'. This is no good. We must confront issues with facts.
I used to entertain the notion that we could make significant inroads into convincing blacks that conservatism is their greatest ally and best hope. I've given up on that ever occurring.
Though it's nice to see people like Star Parker and Herman Cain, they, and like blacks, are of a small percentage, (less than 5%), who recognize the inherent danger of liberal schemes and machinations.
And that, sadly, will not change in our lifetime.
It is as evil to vote for someone because of their skin color, as it is to vote against them because of their skin color.
Too bad they can't shine the limelight on themselves - might help their credibility...
