Hey, in an entertainment universe where a blood-soaked psychopath can be a hero and flesh-munching zombies can be hilarious (to me, too), what’s a few exploding schoolchildren?
Late last week, a British climate group released “ No Pressure,” a mini-film aimed at rounding up new recruits to its “10:10″ movement, in which people, schools, companies and other participants pledge to cut their greenhouse gas emissions 10 percent in a year.
On paper, the project had everything going for it — the screenwriter of “Four Weddings and a Funeral” and “Bridget Jones’s Diary,” music by Radiohead, on-screen talent including Gillian Anderson, a partnership with The Guardian newspaper, which got the exclusive, unveiling the video with a gushy blog post that called it “attention grabbing” and “pretty edgy.”
Attention grabbing and “pretty edgy,” indeed. The opening scene shows a school teacher cheerily tallying hands of those in her class agreeing to cut their carbon, then pushing a red button, bursting two naysayers like balloons filled with fruit punch. Other scenes repeat the spattery process in an office and on a soccer field. The video makes last year’s “ polar bears falling from the sky” film clip fighting frequent flying look like Teletubbies.
If the goal had been to convince people that environmental campaigners have lost their minds and to provide red meat (literally) to shock radio hosts and pundits fighting curbs on greenhouse gases, it worked like a charm. Of course the goal might have been buzz more than efficacy. Too often these days, that’s the online norm. They succeeded on that front. I, among many others, am forced to write about it. That’s not edgy, that reveals the murderous heart of global warming fascists to even consider the thought of blowing up children who didn’t toe their political line.
I saw the video. What I saw was a bunch of potential foot soldier appalled and disgusted by their leader’s tactics. It could have been a gross parody of the green movement’s anti-human objectives.
That's the characterization that all these Libs look for as a badge of honor. Blow up kids? Wow, how edgy! Show Jesus in a sex act? “Edgy” too!
I don't even get remotely agitated about these things anymore. They are a pathetic example of the self-contradulatory decline of what passes for “art” and popular culture these days. I just tune out.
That is not edgy, it is terroristic, and is intended to be so.

Just watched this on Fox. These radicals are terrorists.
Threatening to blow up kids or anyone else is a crime and should be taken seriously. These people are dangerous and serious and they should be dealt with as such.
The message is simple, go against us and you will be eliminated. We have been fighting a war on terrorism with people that have the same philosophy, either you submit or you die.
Anyone associated with these videos should be put on a watch list and treated as dangerous criminals.

Global Warming on Free Republic
This is how most of my arguments end with Leftists on the Internet.
They have a few (or one or two) facts, or what they THINK are facts. When I answer them back with better or actual facts the insults begin. They do NOT know how to handle being proved wrong.
You can see that violence or killing is the next step.
When the enviro-nuts very close cousins killed 6 million in the 30’s and 40’s and their comrades killed 100 million last century most people thought it was a terrible thing. Now, the Left is getting closer and closer to coming right out and calling for a Final Solution to those that do not fall in line lockstep with their false “science.” They are starting off with humor to desensitize people and make killing those that disagree seem normal.
Their “humorous” message is, kill all those that disagree, even if they are children.
Laugh?! I never thought I'd start....
On multiple levels -
Stupid, wasteful, malevolent, weak minded, just plain weird, poor judgement, immature, intolerant, etc -
In other words - juvenile. “Children with a budget” is how things like this get made and released.
Next: A “humorous” PSA from the Klimate Eco-terrorists with “deniers*” being gassed.
