Houston Mom Shielded Unborn Baby while Stabbed to Death

By Kathleen Gilbert

HOUSTON, October 4, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The mother of a pregnant young woman who was stabbed to death in Texas last month said that her daughter shielded her unborn child under a hail of stabs from a butcher’s knife.

The Houston Chronicle reported last week that Leiah Jackson, 27, and her unborn child were killed in an attack September 26 by an unidentified individual. Jackson's boyfriend, Yancey Daniels, was shot and killed about half an hour before Leiah was attacked.

Leiah had managed to reach her mother's adjacent home after the attack, but died shortly thereafter. She was 8 1/2 months pregnant.

Leiah’s mother told the newspaper that Leiah had turned her body to protect her baby, exposing her back and arm to the deadly blows.

"She took all those stab wounds trying to protect another human being — not trying to protect herself — trying to protect her child," said Pamela Jackson.

Police have questioned persons of interest, but no one is reported to have been charged with the crime.

Look for a woman to have done this — former girlfriend or ex-wife of baby’s dad.

From the Gospel of John, Chapter 15:13

Jesus continues speaking: "No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends."

I think Jesus said it all in John 15:13

At first glance, it does however the bf's death sounds more like drug related. Strange, they both weren't killed in the same manner as one would assume if by the same person.

Topher - I’m in a debate about literally everything with an atheist I’ve known since high school. Do you know of any other professors or academics out there that are preaching the same infanticide stuff as Peter Singer.

My old schoolmate had never heard of Singer. I wonder if there are any others out there or if Singer is the lone voice. He is an evil man.

Thanks. This person is obviously in favor of “reproductive rights,” and keeps trying to throw me hypothetical situations (really stupid ones) like, “If you were in a fertility clinic that was burning down and there was only one way out and a rickety ladder and you could only carry one thing, would you carry the six month old infant that is crying or the big crate of 10,000 frozen embryos?” In other words, would I save 10,000 lives or one?

I wouldn’t take the bait. I told him that hypothetical situations are stupid and that I would never be in a fertility clinic, much less one that is burning. Not to mention the utter absurdity of an infant being in a fertility clinic.

I then asked him if his house was burning (he has only one child) and he had two children and could only save one; one was a troubled child who caused him much anguish and the other was the straight A kid who was just like him, which one would he save? I told him that this is the problem with hypotheticals.

I know this is waaay off topic, but I know there are a lot of sharp people on here - sharper than me anyway.

Blessings.

Virginia Ironside would have used the baby as a shield if she didn’t kill it herself first.

Glenn Beck showed this clip and asked that we spread it around to expose the brutality of the left. (Not the 10:10 climate change clip.)

Paul said “..a good man may die for his friends, but who dies for someone they do not know..?”

Paraphrased, but wow, have to wonder if the mom to be had a firearm if things would have turned out differently?

Seems it was a male cousin involved in drugs. And the bf’s grandmother, Dionne Warwick, may sing at his funeral. With Warwick in the picture, these murders won’t be swept under the rug.

Holy Eugenics!
That woman needs a pillow over her face.

Did you see the shock on the faces of the other women?

Never let the soothing calm voices of compassion on the far left fool you. They hold some astounding brutality in their hearts.

She coundn’t even understand the shock the other women obviously felt.

When my husband showed me the 10/10 video this afternoon, my reaction was anger and a sense of I’ll show them. The link you provided left me shocked. I always say nothing will surprise me anymore, but then something comes along that does.

I believe Sanger promotes the idea that babies can be killed up to the age of two years old.

He is was the Bio-ethics advisor for Bill Clinton in that Administration...

Salvation might have some ideas (FreeRepublic Poster Salvation)
