“...more and more ‘children’ are becoming feral”

Perfectly true, and perfectly worded. And the schools - and teachers, for all their fat salaries - aren’t solving the problem. If anything, they’re making it worse.

EXACTLY!!! Kids are not able to fight back, plus the bullies are more psychotic than I am sure they used to be. I, when I am a parent, am going to make the school adminstration agree and sign a contract stating that they agree to be held criminally and civilly lible if my kid gets harrassed by other students, if ot the point it affects their mental/emotional health and their school performance.

I was bullied badly in high school too and it wrecked my ability to concentrate. And the stupid teachers dismiss it and ignore it. Even as it happens right under their noses.

I never had a spanking that I recall after around 7 or 8.

One thing I notice, is that this is about a guy. About boyfriends, not anything serious. Their behavior is like a bunch of middle schoolers; only they have adult toys to hurt people with. Their mentalities are like those of children.

Kinda makes you wonder what’s going to happen when these kids “grow up” (i.e., get older) and are running the world - with all the a bombs and h bombs around and proliferating.

Who knows. All I do know, is that thanks ot the internet, these people will have the world knowing who they are and their potential employers will know, and any potential spouses. These kids won’t be trusted to wash toilets properly, much less run anything.

They’re just the ones who got caught; there are millions more just as feral, who haven’t yet been recognized as such.

That is what makes this so frightening. This nation’s school system is falling to pieces because there are these packs roaming the halls and triggering trouble. No one is learning anything and able to concentrate. No one is able to do anything and the teachers are too gutless to go after these cirminals in training. WHERE is this coming from?

I am pretty well convinced that taking toddlers and dumping them in large groups managed by marginally competent adults is not the best idea the human race ever came up with.

Children mature and develop best in the context of the family. Herding them around in age groups like cattle is a recipe for disasters like this.

It also holds the bright back to make the stupid feel better. Same with behavior. Putting a well mannered teen/child is a bad idea to put them with thugs who think that the well mannered are fair game. They don’t have a one size fits all in Indian or Chinese education systems. And they actually punish the bully, not the victim.

It's coming from you. Teachers don't raise kids. Since when is it a teacher's job to instruct your children on morality, self respect, and proper behavior? That's your job (as a parent). I sure as hell don't want my son's teachers in charge of his moral and ethical growth. I do that.

Schools are nothing more than a reflection of society at large. Parents who want to abdicate their responsibilities while demanding that their child be treated like a prince(ss). You could fire every teacher in the nation, clone Jaime Escalante for every class, and the educational system would still fail. Because the same parents who complain about their daughter being bullied will be the same parents who run to the school board about the slap on the wrist she receives if she bullies others.

Teachers are responsible for a safe school environment. And where they did not provide such, then they are at fault. But so are the parents of the kids who were being bullies (and maybe even the parents of the bullied girl, depending on the circumstances). If you abdicate your responsibility to raise your own child, you don't get to be angry when someone else screws it up.

Good point. These parents are not raising their kids to get good skills to find security in life, but knowing the ‘right’ people and getting the ‘best’ man and I think that that is causing the worst of it. If women compete to get teh best man and in the right circles, then they become feral. if all you have is marketing, one slip means a possible fatal fall.

It’s so simple I am surprised that society doesn’t encourage a more cutthroat attitude towards getting good grades instead of socializing.

Then it sounds like the bullies picked the wrong target.

If you have a vagina, why do you call yourself “Mr. Bird?”

You still don’t get it do you.You discount every word I said.I don’t think I need to get into what was done to me but lets say it was much more than just words and your bullying of the matter is really immature and very ugly.
