“Luján’s campaign manager, Aaron Trujillo, said Monday that the NRA backs Luján because he supports the Second Amendment right to bear arms. “It’s not a Democratic or Republican issue,” he said. “We’re Westerners.””

“Luján’s father, New Mexico House Speaker Ben Luján, D-Nambé, received an “F” grade from the NRA.”

His old man gets an “F” rating from the NRA!

What is the NRA's MAJOR MALFUNCTION?

Don't send them a DIME!

Send all contributions DIRECTLY to CONSERVATIVE candidates all over the country.

I don’t know why you’re surprised. The NRA is all about one issue...they suypport candidates who support gun rights. Period. They’ve supported the democrat John Dingle ever since Reafgan was a democrat.

They are supporting Dims with a lesser grade over Conservative GOP with a higher grade and less money to fork over.

They also endorsed Democrats Ellsworth for Senate and Donnelly for the House here in IN.

The NRA is just another shill for the elites in power in Washington. They are an anti-Tea Party group now trying to save the Dems bacon. Sickening!

The effing NRA is trying to save the Democrats! Chuck Heston would never have allowed this. He helped build up the NRA!

I am about as angry as he is in the movie over this NRA’s BS!

Yeah Lujan’s old man with the NRA “F” rating. Another political dynasty.

Tell your bosses at the NRA to shove it. The Democrats are the pro-Islam party. I hope the gun companies run away from these corrupt s*its at the NRA.

I fortunately never opted to become a life member. NRA, if you’re monitoring this site, you can forget about my renewal and that of my wife or any interim contributions from us or any assurance of a spirited defense against critics. Any vote for any Democrat is a vote for Obama, Pelosi and Reid and when the issue is defense of our Constitution and Our Country vs your one, undeniably important issue, you just try to guess which issue will win all the time.

They’re not my bosses...I’ve known what they were for quite a while. The NRA ia about continuing the influence and power of the NRA...and keeping the checks rolling in. I’m not surprised at all. I;m also no fan of the NRA.

The NRA is trying to keep members. Even the Dems in NM hunt and fish. Those interests transcend political parties.

There is a lot of public land in NM and a lot of hunters/NRA members.

I know, I lived there from 1972-1986. I was Republican County Chairman in Grant County, NM in the 1980’s. And had lots of Dem friends that loved hunting and fishing even more than I did.

Yup. I will miss those stories about how granny iced some perp with her aging .22 cowboy gun. I was always amazed at all the crime blotters in their mag about granny or gramps putting down perps who broke in usually with a .22 pistol often a wheel gun.

So much for the “no stopping power” argument because they usually ended up dead.

The NRA is “dead” to me.
