Republican John Raese now holds a six-point lead on Democratic Governor Joe Manchin in West Virginias shockingly competitive U.S. Senate race.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in West Virginia finds Raese with 50% support, while the states highly popular governor earns just 44% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.
These findings now move this race from a Toss-Up to Leans GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election Senate Balance of Power rankings.

Rasmussen numbers today plus Nevada = GOP tie (50/50). Rasmussen numbers today plus Nevada and WA = 51/49 GOP.
Buy bye Dem control of Senate!
This is VERY doable!
Wow. This is amazingly good news!
Hilarious that Manchin and the Democrats thought this would be a shoe in. Now they are in serious danger of losing this seat and could have avoided the whole thing if Manchin had just appointed someone to till 2012.
50% is the rubicon. If he goes over it soon, I would say this race is all but done. Manchin is kind of the incumbent since he’s the governor. He has name recognition. People know him and have made up their minds about him. He’s one of these Democrats that is good where he is. As a state figure, he is conservative. Once he got on the national scene, he would just be another Reid flunkey...
Let’s Roll
We owe it to our forefathers and America’s Greatest Generation to defeat these RAT enemies of freedom. Our children and grandchildren’s future is at stake as well as our survival if DeathCare is allowed to become the genocide it was designed to be.
“Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads”
Sorry guys, the subject line should say 44%, not 40%.
Wow!
EXTREMELY significant!
........27 days and OUT........
