This year Forbes changed the way it ranked women, basing the list on wealth and power and more on creative influence and entrepreneurship says Moira Forbes (Steve Forbes’ daughter), President & publisher of ForbesWomen.

Forbes said Obama topped the list this year because “she has made the office of first lady her own” while remaining popular.

“In a telling sign of her charisma, the White House is putting her on the campaign trail to headline fundraising events in battleground states like California and Colorado,” Forbes said.

“She’s also effective: In response to her Let’s Move! campaign against childhood obesity, companies like Coca-Cola, Kellogg and General Mills have pledged to reduce the calorie content of their foods by 2015,” it said.

In this pic, the most powerful woman has on ill fitting pants, (too tight, too short) a top that doesn't quite match, and BLUE SHOES? Then the hair pulled back in a stingy "old mountain woman" knot.--she has worn it like this a lot lately.

Also, look at the Pres's pants and coat fit. NOT top notch--looks like off the rack and I would bet it cost several hundred if not a couple thousand.

As for the girls, they always look pretty ordinary, pretty regular. I have never seen them spectacularly dressed.

It seems none of the mags can get over their gushing over this family. Her "most powerful" is bs, and just more fawning.
