http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/10/08/donilon-to-replace-jones-as-national-security-adviser/

But the schedule was accelerated, and in recent weeks White House staff had been increasingly critical of General Jones for statements that he apparently made to Bob Woodward, the author of “Obama’s Wars,” an account of the internal decision making on policy Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Mr. Donilon began as young political operative for President Jimmy Carter and later was chief of staff for Secretary of State Warren Christopher in the Clinton administration.

This is not good news. As a former Commandant of the Marine Corps and Supreme Allied Commander of Europe, General Jones could have easily taken a coushy job at a major corporation and raked in the bucks. Instead, he took this job because I believe he thought he still had something to offer to serve the country he loves and help win this war on Islamo Fascism.

If he’s resigning, that means he can’t do anything to influence this bozo to actually win these wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“Obama Wars”

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/09/22/politics/washingtonpost/main6889641.shtml

Tensions often turned personal. National security adviser James L. Jones privately referred to Obama’s political aides as “the water bugs,” the “Politburo,” the “Mafia,” or the “campaign set.” Petraeus, who felt shut out by the new administration, told an aide that he considered the president’s senior adviser David Axelrod to be “a complete spin doctor.”

During a flight in May, after a glass of wine, Petraeus told his own staffers that the administration was “[expletive] with the wrong guy.” Gates was tempted to walk out of an Oval Office meeting after being offended by comments made by deputy national security adviser Thomas E. Donilon about a general not named in the book.

Suspicion lingered among some from the 2008 presidential campaign as well. When Obama floated the idea of naming Clinton to a high-profile post, Axelrod asked him, “How could you trust Hillary?”

*snip*

Still, First Lady Michelle Obama sent out a plaintive if blunt e-mail appeal the other day — for her husband’s campaign outfit.

And now Michelle Obama’s mother’s son-in-law has followed suit with a money plea — again, for his own campaign outfit.

“I need you in the game,” he cries.

*snip*

Then the pitch: The president would like a measly little $3 donation, more if you prefer.

Thanks to an unidentified “fellow grass-roots supporter,” the Democrat says, that donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar. That means, in case your calculator has choked on all those digits in the deficit, “your $3 donation will become $6.”

And then the politician who relentlessly pushed healthcare last year ignoring polls saying the economy was America’s overwhelming concern, makes a surprising confession:

“I didn’t run for president because I wanted to do what would make me popular.”

That part, at least, has worked like a charm.

ROFL!!!!!

Tom Donilon will replace Gen. Jones in two weeks. He was a registered lobbyist from 1999 through 2005, and his sole client was Fannie Mae.

HOPE & CHANGE LOFL!

Finally noticed the “Fall Guy” sticker on his back... when Americans are asked to “absorb” another terrorist attack.

Maybe he agrees with the claims that the latest security alert was 100% political and doesn’t want to be a part of this crap.
>>>

Or, as 0bama recently said “We can absorb another attack”.

This bastard 0bama is going to get a lot of Americans killed.

Mr. Donilon began as young political operative for President Jimmy Carter and later was chief of staff for Secretary of State Warren Christopher in the Clinton administration.

Well, that bodes well for future success.
