Of course Bush was and is better than Obama! That does not mean that I want him back or think that he had a large part in the destruction of the Republican brand.

I know this isn’t a popular sentiment here....

When I see a post about Bush, it seems that so many need to add something about how they disagreed with Bush or how they feel Bush did something bad.

B.S.

President George W. Bush had clarity. President George W. Bush NEVER stood before a group of Americans and bashed another group of Americans. President George W. Bush never stood before a group of Americans and called other Americans silly names. President Bush took his job seriously, President Bush did not encourage Americans to not visit American cities.

Please, no ridiculous comments on how anyone didn’t like something President Bush did. The blame I see directed at President Bush here and other places sickens me a little. It’s probably one of the main reasons I lurked so long before deciding to begin posting.

Bush was flawed, and I often thought he was too liberal. However, he did what he felt was right for America, the nation he loved.

Obama does what he feels is the right thing to destroy America, land that he hates.

I’m with you there.

Bush’s second term was especially negative for conservatives. But overall both his terms were poisoned by the 2000 election and by his “brand” of compassionate conservatism”-— not conservatism at all.
