IMHO, his biggest fault was "reaching across the isle." Every time he did, he came back with a bloody stup at the end of his arm.

The pack of theives, liars and power mongers that constitute the modern Democrat party can not be trusted. The care nothing about working together for the good of the nation and to pretend they do is beyond foolish.

Ditto, ditto. I’d vote for him again in a nanosecond.

President Bush was right on nearly all things INCLUDING trying to correct Fannie/Freddie back in 2005. IMHO, he made a value judgement not to fight Congress on spending so as not to let their inner demons screw up the war on terror. Did he allow too much new spending? Yes. Did he have trouble with speech at times? Yes. Did he hang tough and win Iraq ? Yes. Was he a forceful advocate for American free enterprise and low taxes ? YES YES YES ... Godspeed....

I fault him and his dad for that. That is one thing I liked about Reagan, he didn’t try to be friends with the democrats on their terms. It was his way or the highway !
