"Remember, remember, vote like your life depends on it. Vote like your kids' future depends on it, because you know what, it just might," Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) said at a campaign rally headlined by President Obama in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Next: “As you vote Republican, your head will explode while you’re still in the voting booth, and all puppies will die.”

1.Denial – “I feel fine.”; “This can’t be happening, not to me.”

2.Anger – “Why me? It’s not fair!”; “How can this happen to me?”; “Who is to blame?”

3.Bargaining – “Just let me live to see my children graduate.”; “I’ll do anything for a few more years.”; “I will give my life savings if...”

4.Depression – “I’m so sad, why bother with anything?”; “I’m going to die... What’s the point?”; “I miss my loved one, why go on?”

5.Acceptance – “It’s going to be okay.”; “I can’t fight it, I may as well prepare for it.”

Didn’t MTV already pimp this “vote or die” mumbo jumbo once before? Sounds like Fast Eddie can’t come up with an original idea. My kids’ future depends on me not leaving them in a banana republic in debt up to their eyeballs.

Good analysis. My guess is that this week the Dems move to bargaining: “Just give us another chance. We got the message. Honest we did.”

It’s not just our lives that depend on this vote. It’s the very future of the nation that’s at stake.

Don’t get angry, lampoon it mercilessly and vote.

Hey Ed,
I will vote like my life depends on it, it does, you just will not like the results of my vote.

I think he is absolutely correct, our very lives depend on this vote.

A vote that keeps the big-government socialist Democrats in any kind of power is bad news. We have to, have to slap them down and begin to immediately shrink the Federal Government back down to a reasonable, Constitution-respecting size and scope.

If we don't, the government will continue to expand, taking over more and more of what was formerly private industries and activities. We will see our liberties, freedoms, and choices further eroded. The end result will be everyone working for the state, supporting it in some way and relying on it for our very lives.

Sadly, this is not wild hyperbole, but utter, naked truth. The "death panels" in obama/Reid/Pelosi care that were supposedly not there, then supposedly removed in the Senate version - they are real. Companies are dropping coverage. Medicare/Medicaid is already restricting access to some drugs, some treatments/procedures. The rationing, the beaurocratic-driven who lives, who dies will only get worse. Not fantasy, happening now, already.

To a lesser extent, we all already spend far too much time working to support the state, paying directly into it via income taxes and through sales taxes. Enough is too much already! The government has gotten too bloated, too invasive. Do we really need the government telling us how much water our toilets can use when we flush? If I'm willing to pay for the water, why can't I have one that uses 10 gallons at a time? Do we want some government flunky telling us what kind of light bulbs we can use? If I'm willing to pay for the bulb and the electricity to run it, bugger off! (besides, CFLs are toxic when broken) Do I need the government looking over my shoulder when I drive - making sure I have 5 mph bumpers, air-bags, a seat-belt, etc.? If I choose to drive at-risk that is my choice - when did it become the governments? My right to keep and bear arms is explicitly protected (note, protected, not granted) in The Bill of Rights. Why do I need to apply to the government (and pay fees) to affirm that un-assailable right? Our rights, our freedoms, and our liberty is under assault. We have already given up so much, and pay so much, that we can't see it. We are the proverbial frog in slowly-warmed water. It is time to jump out of the pot and turn down the stove.

Hussein, Pelosi, and Reid’s DeathCare will determine if you live or die. Each of us are now at the mercy of Big Brother determining if we will receive medical care. Bend over America and kiss your rears goodbye.

Rendell neglected to say his RAT cohorts are the ones determining life and death in the American dictatorship created by Hussein and this Congress.
