Given the position of the bar code, that would seem to be the back cover of a paperback book, with the bottom toward Obama's head.

It looks vaguely like a swan or a boat, but too vague to tell.

It seems incredible to me that NONE of those idiot reporters at this event took the trouble to ask the Secret Service what book it was. It might or might not be significant, but it is a basic fact--and none of these damned reporters care a whit about facts.

Presumably the SS will have it examined for fingerprints to help ID the perp.
