Once again, Madam President states the obvious truth, and everyone faints from a case of the vapors.

She's right.

Arctic/Mother/Warrior/Victory ping!

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

She is a bright woman who can think on her feet. She has an unconventional way of speaking, and it appears sometimes that her thoughts are moving faster than her ability to verbalize, but she is definitely a bright person. Some on the left are getting this, I think, and realizing that its not so easy to just dismiss her as a lightweight like the media and established left have tried to do.

They’ll have a field day with this, but it is long past time to stop sugar-coating the situation with that lunatic in Iran. I admire Palin for doing this but she’s going to catch hell for it.

"They" are idiots who are going to lose so big on Nov 2nd. I can hardly wait! :-D

She's right, it's a dangerous world.

Parenthetically, I was advised many years ago by a very practical type that I should never expect to receive any credit from anyone for correctly predicting the end of the world. :)

"a nuclear weapon in that country's hands is not just Israel's problem or America's problem — it is the world's problem. It could lead to an Armageddon. It could lead to that World War III that could decimate so much of this planet."

My dad told me something very similar decades ago. I grew up decades ago and realized that he was right. He wasn't as worried about the 'conventional enemies' of the time as he was of something like that happening.

The rats are very out of touch with the majority of Americans. Sarah understands America like Obama never will.

"More cahone in her hangnail then the entire US Congress of clowns."

"(Gov. Sarah Palin) warns that allowing Iran to acquire nuclear weapons could "lead to Armageddon"
that could lead to the deaths of millions in a third world war."

".... she wants to "call out" Obama for his conduct of military operations in the Middle East:
"I want to say, 'You're going to send our troops there in the danger zone,
you better have a darn good reason why they're going,
and you better be committed to victory.'""

"Allowing Islamic-oriented laws in U.S. communities would be "the downfall of America,"
Palin says, adding that Americans "will not put up with any hint of Shariah law
being any sort of law of the land.""

Newsmax is so sloppy and stupid. How can anyone take this article seriously when it's coupled with this moronic headline?

Palin Warns of ‘Armageddon, Third World War' in Exclusive Newsmax Broadcast

For a Christian, Armageddon is one specific end-times event. Sarah hasn't warned that Iran's procuring of nukes could lead to Armaggedon itself, but that it could lead to, and I quote, an Armageddon...or, as The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines it, "a usually vast decisive conflict or confrontation."

"We have to realize that, at the end of the day," Palin warns in the interview, "a nuclear weapon in that country's hands is not just Israel's problem or America's problem — it is the world's problem. It could lead to an Armageddon. It could lead to that World War III that could decimate so much of this planet."

Nerwsmax's omitting of the "an" in Palin's quote is sensationalizing what she has said, and cursory readings by leftist ignoramuses the world over will accuse Palin of prophesying about end-times events. Newsmax truly blows...it always has, and it will as long as people without the most basic of journalistic standards are running the joint.

NewsMax isn’t sloppy per say; they, like many other news organization uses and trade on Palin name as a money making, marketing and web hit boost....so putting Palin & Armageddon in the headline attracts supporters, people who disagree and just the curious

No, but they are sloppy per se.

Their articles have been documented for years here, by many, to be rife with inaccuracies.

In addition to their sloppiness, they engage in sensationalism. That's the nature of this headline, and I addressed the point in my comment.

Nothing will be done about it until a real leader steps up to the plate and loudly denounces what NK and Iran are up to.

You think that will make any difference to those whackjobs?

We're talking straight up military invasion against a military that looks to be vastly more prepared than the Iraqi Army was, and I don't think we're in any shape to be fighting a third war.

However, anything else is just words. "How many divisions has the Pope?" comes to mind.

I remember those “duck and cover” drills in school. I’m still praying that our grandkids don’t have to go through that. (sigh)

The point that I was inferring is that there are gradients to everything, including an unflinching, unblinking, iron-willed response to these despotic and dangerous regimes.

The first gradient step, is for a leader with real testicular fortitude to stand up in public and forcefully call them what they are. Congress, the military, and the people have to see that leader set the tone for subsequent actions of a concrete nature.

Foreign despots, seeing this resolve emanating from our leadership will then have to choose whether they're "feeling lucky", or whether it might just be in their best interest to cool their jets.

It all begins with the tone and mindset of real leadership. Sarah Palin obviously has that (even though she is not the president), and Obama's got bupkis. Maybe some waffles or ice cream he could share, but that's about it.
