The Obama administration gave corporate giant General Electric—the parent company of NBC--$24.9 million in grants from the $787-billion economic “stimulus” law President Barack Obama signed in February 2009, according to records posted by the administration at Recovery.gov. Despite getting $24.9 million from U.S. taxpayers, GE decreased its U.S.-based employees by 18,000 in 2009, according to the company’s 2009 annual report.

According to Standard & Poor's, GE took in $156 billion in revenue in 2009.

GE was the primary recipient of 14 stimulus grants, a spokeswoman for Recovery.gov confirmed to CNSNews.com. These 14 grants provided GE with $24.9 million in tax dollars. On four additional stimulus grants, the primary recipient of the federal money hired GE as a contractor. Recovery.gov is the administration’s website that tracks stimulus expenditures.

GE is debt is s**t and there whole game is borrowing short term commercial paper with their fake AAA credit rating.

Well the markets and credit default swap (insurance) market was going after GE’s worthless debt. Obama Uncle Same backed the debt with the US Treasury. This happened almost a year ago. GE would have gone bankrupt in weeks.

Libs helped them when they banned incandescent light bulbs, too. GE stands to make a bundle of money from those awful CFL bulbs. Bunch of crooks.

I was going to stock up on old style incandescent bulbs. I think they are gone now. I may have waited too long. Maybe check the dollar stores. Such BS. GE is a scum company.

And you wonder why a certain network is so purely biased and one sided. And why they hide all the fraud, and protect the bankers and power elite.

What creativity!

Bribes and payoffs are now called “stimuli.”

Payoff. Like giving money to the Brazil oil company owned in large part by George Soros (for increased drilling).

O’Reilley has reported that GE would stand to make billions if Cap-N-Trade was made the law. That’s one reason 0 fights for it.

24 million dollars is a cheap amount considering that Barry was able to purchase a half hour of the Today Show for telemarketing of the DNC. Last month Matt Lauer pitched Barry a series of softballs on the show. At least we now understand what the quid pro quo was.

Just hearing obama's name makes me sick. It's no wonder I'm trying to distract myself by watching non-news shows.
