Mercy Health Partners in Scranton are selling their hospitals, in part due to Obamacare. (One of the hospitals, Mercy Hospital, is the hospital Joe Biden was born at).
This is the ad targeting the 2 Catholic Dems (Kanjorski and Carney) who voted FOR Obamacare.
This ad is getting a LOT of play in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market.
How is that possible when Obamacare has not even been funded yet. That is one thing we are ensuring the Republicans don’t do is fund Obamacare.
How is that possible when Obamacare has not even been funded yet.
Perhaps they are announcing that they will close preemptively rather than be forced to perform an abortion. They know that cannot stay open without public funding and know they cannot accept the terms of the public funding Obamacare will require.
All this excrement wasn’t supposed to hit the fan until AFTER 2012.
It doesn’t matter if itis funded or not.
Obamacare PASSED.
Details are coming out about what Obamacare is and private hopsitals can’t afford it. They are being forced to scale back and close in preparation for it.
Since when did it EVER bother a Demoncrat to pass an entitlement that is NOT funded? They could care less. They’ll tax you to death and keep on spending money they don’t have. The same is true of Obamacare.
The purpose of the Freedom of Choice Act and ObamaCare was to close the Catholic Hospitals. 25% of all hospital beds are in buildings with the word Saint on the door.
Some can’t wait till then!
The “good news” is slipping out and people are preparing for the worst.
I love the Sisters of Mercy. Best people I ever worked for.
I hope you all read this story about this subject posted yesterday:

I’ll bet that Hussein & Friends are all broken up to hear of the closing of a Catholic Hospital.
It is an objective of the left to abolish charity.
My understanding is that the Medicare cuts in Obamacare will spell doom for these hospitals that rely predominantly on elderly patients with Medicare.
They want to sell now while the value is still there.
