Just finished watching. I hope the people of Delaware are smart enough to see the obvious 3 to 1 gangup on Christine. That said, I think she did a fantastic job. Yes Coons, there is a clear choice. He was too arrogant and 'slick' for me. Christine more down homer, I think she connected a lot better than Coons and hammered home the concept that he will be just another rubber stamp in the Reid-Pelosi-Obama machine. (Trying to be objective here). She obviously is a lot more human and warmer than Coons. We'll see how it affects the polls. Who won? Sorry I'm biased but my vote goes to Christine!

Marxism or America, it's Your Call Delaware!

I thoght Wolf Blitzer was incredibly obnoxious and obviously biased. He didn’t even have the decency to try to hide it. It was awful.

Castle was only going to serve for 4 years - the unexpired remainder of Biden’s term to cap his career.

I am in DE. Whether Coons or O’Donnell wins, DE will be hurt with either, because Castle would have had all of his House seniority count in the Senate + being a former governor counts, as well.

Again, for the record: I am encouraging everyone I know to vote for COD but she faces long odds in DE.

I am very pleased and impressed. Your gal did great!
She hit just the right stride.
She battled three against one and came out the winner.
Now, Delaware voters need to shed their pre-conceived notions and do the right thing.
Elect this good woman on November 2, 2010.
That Coons is Reid’s pet and a rubber stamp Marxist.

Very true. If I were writing the laws, it would be very difficult for people to qualify to vote. They’d need to pass literacy tests; possibly have a vested economic interest in the nation, whether as property owners, wage earners or spouses of same. And be over 21. Maybe more. :(
But as it is, it’s the largely clueless independents who decide elections like this. And God help us all, they’re going to think what Wolf Blitzer leads them to think.
If I may take such liberties with the verb “to think.”

Darn, I missed that. What happened? Somebody said Coons had to backtrack on an answer about his company, making him look like a liar. Can anybody that saw it briefly explain? Thank you.

I made a mental comparison of that too! I am glad I am not alone!

“Do you mean the constitution of our Founding Fathers?”
“Or Do you mean the constitution of the 1930’s?”
“Or do you mean the constitution of the 50’s?
“Or do you mean the constitution of today?”

Serious....Coons and the many constitutions. Another great sound byte.

oh yeah, I remember the “bush doctrine” Question. What a bunch of jackasses who sit around and try to come up with clever ways to stump conservatives. I hope the recession/depression is deep enough that these writers end up living under a bridge.

LOL! Well, that makes two of us.

The boo at Chrissy and the ‘interruption’: I hope someone caught what happened ‘cause I’m not sure.

&&&&&

And this would have helped Delaware how?

YMMV, but I’m convinced that people choose leaders based on masculinity. COD is prettier but this is not a “looksism” situation. People are anxious and when they’re worried, they’re looking for a male. Coons has nothing else whatsoever going for him, but he is more male than COD.
I will be elated if I’m wrong, but I don’t think so.

COD’s camp needs to get a commercial out asap with Coons floundering on the company question then comparing him to all the crooks already in Congress.

Do we need another one?

COD brought up the Cap N Tax policies he supports because of family ties and contracts. He went into dental floss and had an awakening about maybe some fuel cell stuff that might benefit.

She is representative of "the people" with the foundation and principles that many of us share, not a polished elite establishment politician who speaks in 'slick' tones and 'Harvard' style BULLSHT. Isn't that what most of us want??

Most of us on this forum, yes. We are politically enlightened. We HAVE foundation and principles.

But a lot of other voters don't.

They sometimes do think what Wolf wants.

Is CNN still popular?

I thought Fox was the more popular now.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

People just saw the superior Christine beat the inferior Coons. It should help her poll numbers.
