Coons (D) - O'Donnell (R) Debate thread 7:30pm EDT CNN .
I've hired/worked with several University of Delaware alumni. Most were pretty good. I think it depends a lot on the program.
Her problem was that only 65% of republicans were anxious to vote, and women hate her.
I hope this debate will help on both of those fronts.
Just got home from work a little while ago, so missed the debate, but am catching up on it via this thread. Going to see if I can watch it live somewhere, especially after reading the comments here.
Thank you for your donation to hopefully our next Senator from WA, Dino Rossi!!
One of 2 Rossi-Murray debates is on tomorrow night and I’ll try to get internet viewing info and start a Live Thread for those of you that are interested.
Case in point. Don’t mess with Joe, he’s an idiot. Whatever happens this is the closest Delaware has ever got to getting back representative gov’t. If they vote in Coons, they get a baby minority rep.
and that is just it, under the current court most rulings have been okay, I’d have to go back to when Sandra Day O’Connor was still on the court and that is no longer recent. Two I disagree with would be Hamdan v. Rumsfeld and Boumediene v. Bush
Funny...for me, “Bull” comes right to mind when I think of him.
Onyx I missed it. Did O’Donnell do well?
Yes...I know some Dems who were spreading that one.
It’s a battle of COD vs the moderator bitch and Coons. Wolf is more oriented toward the loaded aspect.
What they're looking for here, I think, is someone who will have the cajones to stand up to the madness and take this country back.
“Rubber stamp” Coons will be a wet-noodle for sure, but O'Donnell will almost certainly stand firm for what's right for America.
This is the way I see it, given the political climate.
Hey, she has always faced any uphill battle, what with a GOP that did more work for the democratic party than it ever has. She is facing an democratic party that has ruled this state for the past decade. And according to OpenSecrets.org. Coons has raised $1,622,522 to her $376,093 as of today. Coons has raised double the out of state money COD has. Yes, she needs all the money she can get.

What...like Christine O'Donnell did to Jan Ting? She promised to support the nominee...and then ran independently when he won the Republican nomination. Did you forget that?
Great title for the next Halloween horror movie, starring the formerly bearded--now bald--Marxist. I'd love to see Coons photoshopped with a "Jason-like" hockey mask, as a movie promo.
Kelo isn’t recent though, it was pre-Roberts court.
I don’t think all D’s hate God. The media hates God. The media is trying to get everyone to hate God, but it really isn’t working as well as the media would like.
LOL — thanks for the play-by-play and the lowdown on that moment in the debate. I didn’t get to see it but I’m going to be listening tomorrow to see if Rush and the rest pick up on that as the defining soundbite.
I’m looking at that data.
She had 2.6 million on her website a couple weeks back, right after the primary.
Why are the 2 numbers so different?
I’m thinking the whole debate was predisposed to Coons and maybe even some pre-debate talking, it was clear this was three to one tonight and COD was debating three people. They did not moderate.
The full debate will be aired on CNN at 11pm est.
I hope they don’t edit out all the Coons embarassment parts.
