I just don’t get it. I’d love to know how Palin(another attractive woman) did/does on the men v women vote. Could I be the first to coin the term “the catty vote”?

If Obama wants to campaign for safe seats, he can go to Hawaii, Vermont or Maryland.

Well, he's doing the robocall routine for Hawaii. It was a huge pleasure to hang up on him the minute I heard "This is Barack Obama." It came from a local number or I wouldn't even have answered it.

Things aren't even guaranteed for him here - there's quite a large group of disenchanted libs who will stay home, students in particular.

The last time a lot of us here were complaining about a S CT Decision was Kelo. That wasn’t recent.

A nice ‘debate’ tonight. As people can clearly see the differences on substance between Coons vs. O’Donnell.

If this is a debate between Coons vs. Castle, it would only be on style points, on the degree of gray scale. In other words, no difference at all.

And that was what DE Republicans wanted in selecting O’Donnell. Let the voters have two clear choices, and let them decide on their own.

Jan Ting.

Heh.

He’s the guy that ran as the GOP nominee. In 2008 he was spotted cheering for the Dem nominee, one Barack Obama.

Hardly any paragon of loyalty and true blue. He bought and paid for that nomination.

Gotta do better than Jan Ting...a real dolt.

I didn’t say this was the most conservative, I did say the two worst I could come up with off the top of my head was the Gitmo cases, but Kelo was pre-Roberts court and if Wolfe was looking for recent one of the most well known cases in recent history isn’t Kelo. The Roberts court is more conservative than the prior court where both Kennedy and Sandra Day O’Connor went back and forth regularly.

Chris Coons is the step son of Robert Gore, the inventor of Gore-tex.

WL Gore has annual revenues of $1 Billion.

It was certainly about 1 Constitution vs 4. On every change he should have been confronted. Why he thinks the Court overrides the Constitution should be addressed. Especially on anything that Congress has ruled upon. The parsing isn’t sitting well with O’Donnell. The Court was meant to understand the Founders and the Executive completely whacked it by confirmation of a bunch of libtard Senators. The Founders never thought the Cabal would be to that level.

O’Donnell had Coon’s on the edge of his seat all night, she was nervous at times but did a excellent job at hanging the Obama, Biden and Reid anchors around his neck.

I thought she did a good job.

And you’re high if you think that anything about Christines appearance or voice or anything is bad in any way.

No, YOU are high if that's the best you can read. I was saying that SOME voters don't go by political principle, for they have none. They choose, based on ridiculous superficialities.

If you don't believe that, tell me who's in the White House today and how he got in.

Well gang, we're getting down to the wire. Now more than ever donate to Christine Here.

I still think if on November 2nd, come around 2-3 pm EST, if Christine is ahead it will affect Every Other Race in the Nation. A lot at stake here. .

I don't even know anyone in Delaware. If you do, please talk with them or send them some pass-it-on emails supporting Christine. . .

Right. Ridiculous superficialities.

Christine is perfect and Coons is a troll.

We CRUSH Coons on superficialities.

Why do you think this is a National Race?

Coons?

No. It’s the superficialities. Same as Palin.

Here it is. The big secret.

Americans - men and women - really like to look at pretty women. I know. It’s superficial. But look at magazine covers. All have pretty women on them. Fashion mags for the ladies and porn for the gents.

We agree. Yes they look at superficialities.

Christine CRUSHES on superficialities, is the far better one, will get a lot of extra votes based on, superficialities.

I saw her picture in May and thought there would be a good chance she’d be the breakout star of 2010.

I mentioned that in a thread here in May.

So yes, I understand superficialities and voters.

Meh. O'Donnell did OK, but she meandered a lot and had trouble when challenged with specifics. She doesn't speak particularly well, especially when speaking at length. She worked hard to hit all the conservative buttons, but she mostly spoke in generalities and was often in trouble when pressed on details. Her discussion of the Ground Zero Mosque was rather painful to watch. Her discussion of recent supreme court decisions was downright embarrassing. Her attacks on Coons generally came across as rather silly -- "what will you tell Obama about X....?"

Coons is a consummate Democrat, who holds a lot of very noxious positions (that will, however, undoubtedly play well among Delaware voters). But he speaks extremely well, with fully formed and well-constructed arguments, and he almost never stumbled on his words. He had a command of detail that was in sharp contrast to O'Donnell.

O'Donnell needed to be at least as good as Coons tonight, in order to reverse the numbers among independents. She didn't do that -- she lost this debate.

Why do you think this is a National Race?

Because it made SNL, silly man! :)

Seriously, I never said it was.

Just remember, it's Delaware. They let Joe Biden be a senator, and he's as close as it gets to Incitatus.

YMMV
HAND.
