BOWIE, Md. -- On the corner of Collington Road and Route 301, a bright blue poster screams the Democratic Party's wishful thinking at passing cars: "We've got your back President Obama."
The poster, not quite big enough to qualify as a billboard, reflects an unspoken bargain between Obama and black voters: He asks, they deliver.
Last week, Obama asked.
Polls indicate many minority voters are discouraged and won't turn out Nov. 2 as they did for Obama two years ago, yet a solid showing among blacks could still swing several House, Senate and gubernatorial races, according to some analysts.
Ruy Teixeira, a political demographer for the Center for American Progress, said certain parts of the Democratic base - particularly young voters and minorities - typically "tune in" just before an election, and Democrats could improve their chances if they galvanize those constituencies.
"It is not at all clear that the outcome is going to be as grim for the Democats as at least some polls suggest today," Teixeira said. "The Democrats could possibly get out of this election and still hold the House. I think it's going to be very difficult, but it is not as impossible as it might appear."
Black voters are "strategically located" to impact as many as 20 House races, mostly in Southern states, explained David Bositis, a senior researcher at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, who has analyzed the black electorate for more than two decades. They also could sway more than a dozen Senate and governor's races, Bositis said.
"It's not something where the Democrats and the candidates are going to be out there yelling, 'We want the black vote,'" Bositis said. "They're going to work through the black churches, the black media."

Nope. They didn’t get their pie that Obama promised. They watched in dismay as their electric was shut off and their cars repossessed when Barry didn’t make the payments.
Imagine a white president asking people to vote for him for no other reason than that he is white.

Oh, I don’t know...I think the ocean of stupid is still pretty deep. Most who voted for him will do so again just b/c there’s still hope they might get theirs. As long as Barry reins there’s always hope for a hand out.
There is no way in hell that black voters are the SWING VOTE. They still only make up 10, at most 12%of the country. Less than that is their vote impact. You see, they don’t increaseinpercentage because the LIEBRALS are too busy pushing abortion on them and most others are in prison.

Even if there was truth to that, BLACK people have been screwed and they KNOW it.
I don’t bet on them showing up for him in great numbers. 2008 was not the norm for a majority of black voters. I think here, they showed one 80 something year old black woman who had NEVER voted in her life and came out to vote for Obambi.

Don’t be shocked to find Hussein make several claims about a republican agenda to do away with WELFARE, should they take control of congress. Nothing would get blacks to the polls more rapidly...as if Hussein didn’t KNOW it. Stick around. Something of this kind will happen.
Well, blacks make up, what, 12% of the voting base? Whites make up 72%.
Since whites outnumber blacks 6 to 1, I’m pretty comfortable saying that it’s whites who will play the deciding roll in the election.

Dividing the US electorate by race or ethnicity...That’s a Democrat idea.
We win with our conservative principles. When people see how their rational personal self-interests align with limited government, Liberty, individual (the ultimate minority) rights...When people see that conservatives have answers to the issues that concern them, then they can choose.
No big tent. No special promises. Justice is blind, because Liberty is blind. All our Liberty is the same.
Take that 12% and multiply that by 3 for the Dem Vote Fraud Machine. This is the dirty secret. Who reports at the end of the night? Black precincts to find out how many votes they need.
I really think it will tougher this time around but if we are thinking about a tsunami hitting the Dem Party on election night, I am not so sure when you put the corrupt Left in charge of elections. They know whoever controls the vote count wins elections.

Agreed. Beneath the ocean of stupid is abyssal stupid, and beneath that the infernally stupid. There is no limit or fix for stupid.
